Salaam
In the next issue of The Revival our regular fetaure Voice Of The Muslim is asking ppl across the Uk the following questions:
Do young Muslims today like to mix and integrate with non Muslims at college/uni, work and especially in their everyday life? Do young Muslims actually have close friends who ar enon-muslims? Or do they prefer segregation? Or do they beleive non Muslims don't wanna mix with us? Or the old view most non Muslims are racist/Islamophobic?

The word 'obese' should not be used when encouraging the public to lose weight as it may be 'derogatory', councils have been told.
Instead, anyone who is dangerously overweight should merely be urged to try to 'achieve a healthier weight', according to guidelines drawn up by the health watchdog NICE.
The guidance tells officials to ' carefully consider the type of language' they use when designing posters and leaflets

so do you think this case was a race issue, asiam muslim men attacking girls cos they were white eg easy meat?
or were these guys just perverts/peadophiles?
does muslim/asian community have deep -rooted issue sor is this a one off?
all thes emen but 1 were from pakistan, so is this an issue about pakistani men seeing women as inferior and they can treat them as they wish?
these men were morally and spiritually dead, no concept of halal an dharam- why?
is the msulim community responsible now in educating, highlighting and eradicating this issue?

Qasas and Diyat fitna Lahore police hunt 'blood money' suspect
Pakistani police have launched a murder hunt after the widow and mother-in-law of a man shot dead by CIA contractor Raymond Davis last year were killed.
Police suspect Zohra Haider's father of killing her and her mother.
It is thought he was upset at her plans to re-marry, fearing either dishonour or that he might lose out financially.
The acquittal came when relatives of the dead men pardoned him in court in return for receiving compensation estimated to be about 200 million rupees ($2.34m, £1.1m), known as "blood money". Under Pakistani Sharia law, relatives of a murder victim can pardon the killer.
The family bought the new house - in a middle class neighbourhood of Lahore - with "blood money" they received.
Nabeela Bibi was shot in the family's new house, police say, while Zohra Haider was chased down the street by her father before being killed.

A Priceless Quote from a confident Muslim Woman
Nobel Peace Prize winner 'Tawakkul Karman', when asked about her Hijab by journalists and how it is not proportionate with her level of intellect and education, replied:
'Human being in early times was almost naked, and, as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that human being has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is a regression back to the ancient times'.

The Lost Years of Jesus
The gospels have accounts of events surrounding Jesus' birth, and the subsequent flight into Egypt to escape the wrath of Herod (Gospel of Matthew 2:13-23). There is a general reference to the settlement of Joseph and Mary, along with the young Jesus, at Nazareth (Matthew 2:23; Gospel of Luke 2:39-40). There is also an isolated account of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus' visit to the city of Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover, when Jesus was twelve years old (Luke 2:41-50).
Following that episode, there is a blank space in the record that covers eighteen years in the life of Christ (from age 12 to 30). Other than the generic allusion that Jesus advanced in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52), the Bible gives nothing more about Jesus' life during this time span. A common assumption amongst Christians is that Jesus simply lived in Nazareth during that period, but there are various accounts that present other scenarios, including travels to India.

So what's all this about then?
