The National Transitional Council has voted for Saif al Islam Gaddafi to be tried in Libya.
Libyan information minister Mehmood Shammam says the decision will be discussed with the International Criminal Court's (ICC) chief prosecutor when he visits Libya on Monday.
Saif is wanted by the ICC on charges of crimes against humanity.
Mr Shammam said it would only be fair for Libyans to try Saif at home where he "committed crimes against Libyan people".
Eighteen Church of England bishops have signed an open letter, criticising the government's proposed welfare changes.
In the letter, in The Observer, the bishops express concerns about plans to limit the amount any household can claim in benefits to £500 a week.
Their intervention has received the backing of the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Archbishop of York.
The government says the reforms are designed to reduce a culture of benefit dependency.

The current policy of the US is not a reflection of its state today, but a wishful reiteration of the US' zeitgeist.
Did 9/11 "change everything"? For a brief period after September 2001, the answer to that question seemed self-evident: of course it did, with massive and irrevocable implications. A mere decade later, the verdict appears less clear. Today, the vast majority of Americans live their lives as if the events of 9/11 had never occurred. When it comes to leaving a mark on the American way of life, the likes of Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg have long since eclipsed Osama bin Laden. (Whether the legacies of Jobs and Zuckerberg will prove other than transitory also remains to be seen.)

According to hadees,prophet Muhammad is said to have prophesied that the Masih ad-Dajjal would be the last of a series of thirty Dajjal or "deceivers" (false prophets).
Mohammed (PBUH) is reported to have said:
Allah is not one eyed while Messiah, Ad-Dajjal is blind in the right eye and his eye looks like a bulging out grape.[3]
Hadith attributed to Mohammed (PBHU) give many signs of the appearance of the Dajjal, and exhorted his followers to recite the first and last ten verses of Sura Al-Kahf, as protection from the trials and mischief of the Dajjal.
The following signs are ascribed to Ali in the coming of Dajjal:[7]
A few weeks ago there was a "scandal" about the links between the Defence Secretary Liam Fox and his friend Adam Werritty.
Some suggested that the two were running a separate foriegn policy to the official one stated by the government.
Now the plot thickens and Adam Werrity is also linked to the British Ambassador to Israel, who is pretty much pro Israel and intervention in Iran.
A series of news reports linking Israel's intelligence agency the Mossad to a blast at a military facility in Iran, in which 17 people were killed and a further 15 wounded, has gained widespread coverage in the Israeli media on Monday.
While Iranian officials insist the explosion at the Bid Ganeh base was accidental, caused by the movement of ammunition, claims from anonymous western and Israeli officials that Saturday's blast was a covert Israeli operation have gained momentum.
