Many believe multiculturalism improves UK society
The majority of British people think multiculturism makes the country a better place, a BBC poll suggests.
But 32% think it "threatens the British way of life" and 54% think "parts of the country don't feel like Britain any more because of immigration".

The Mori poll for the BBC also suggests the 7 July bomb attacks have not led to an upsurge in racial intolerance.

The survey questioned 1,004 people in the UK. A booster survey of 204 British Muslims was conducted for comparison.

i want 2 know the difference of sunni and wahabi.......i find it really weird that muslims hav been categorised....i mean my cousins claim to be sunni and point towards my family and call us wahabis...talking about fathers bros and sis.....i dont know why this is ....my mum it doesnt matter let them call us what they want but its starting to matter now coz im sick of pointing fingers ,isnt osama bin ladin a wahabi...or 1 of the greatest imams imam abu hanafi

today we got a new guy in the office, i was chuffed at 1st....finally another asian!

turns out hes an athiest now, once believed but then went away for uni and went crazy! spent all diner discussing Islam and his view that theres no logic to god and that hes got a million and one questions he wants 2 ask god. hes very unhappy with him

tried discussing it with him, but he wants factual evidence in his face. i.e. an email from God or his actual presence.
