Just rambling through my thoughts really and it occured to me that religion has come to mean a lot of things to a lot of people. The diversity and understanding of these systems of belief is quite huge in some cases. although most times the end product is pretty much the same, Nirvana, heaven, paradise and so on.

Why do some people seem to need a God more than others?

My cousin is getting married after ramzan and its a love marriage, my sister is getting married a month later also love marriage. As a 17 year old muslim student just wanted to know like is that is love marriage haram and wrong?

Boxing, what a beautiful sport. A sport of warriors and tough nuts, some may call them idiots, some, call them heroes (for some reason).

Im a big fan of boxing, always have been, since the days of Nigel Benn, I followed the career of Prince Naseem Hamid from start to abrupt end. And now, britain has a new boxing "prodigy" by the name of Amir Khan.

Now, Islam teaches us to be peaceful people and not to hurt anybody unnecessarily. Now we all know boxing is a brutal sport.

I read in the Revival mag that u can ask a question to Ruqqayah waris maqsood if you have a problem? but i dont kno where the agony aunt forum is, can anyone help??

If we are scared enough of Allah's(swt) punishment, Inshallah we should show this in our everyday acts. This link is really scary. We must seek his good pleasure. I hope this helps people to become more fearful of our Lord.

When you are asked question about islam, do you give proper, detailed answers?

as an example whenever I get asked about why I have a beard, I reply because. I have found myself not actually giving an answer. I know I could say its compulsory, but i know the next quiestion why don't everyone have it then. and then that will open a can of worms.

So I just shrug my shoulders, and say because. or its easier than shaving everyday... or some other lame excuse.

So do you go out of your way to explain Islam?
