Now that people know I am trying to reform myself, I would just like to know how do you protect your gaze from not looking at what is unlawful?

I find this to be a daunting task, especially living in an unislamic environment. Everywhere there is nudity, music, shameless people, how do you stay away from this? it's almost impossible.

You see it's like this, where I work, there are at least two shameless non muslim women. One of them I happen to work quite closely with. She often wears low neck tops, exposing her ornaments, tight jeans absolutely no shame. The other, normally short dresses and low neck tops, quite flirtatious too she is, lucky I don't work with her, just see her around the office. What do you do when you have to work with these women, where do you look?

Some news outlets recently reported that the UN had decided to appoint an ambassador to extra terrestrial life "out there", and as a coup to the Muslim community, this ambassador was to be a Malaysian Muslim called Mazlan Othman.

This sent bookmakers scampering, seeing it as a sign expecting there to be human alien contact to be soon and some even lowered the odds of first contact being in the next year down to much lower odds.

Alas, this story is too good to be true and has since been denied.

From all accounts he was a great man. A former miner, he pioneered a mesh barrier to protect from and limit land erosion. The military put it to use in place of sandbags to protect from explosions. With his new fortune he invented the Segway, the electric scooter that divides opinion like Marmite, and embarked on charitable work and became one of Britain's great philanthropists. Yesterday his tragic and somewhat surreal ending came when his all-terrain Segway skidded down a ravine on his Yorkshire estate and into the River Wharfe.

I'm sharing this because it is bizarre, but having read about him and found his death no laughing matter I don't have any questions for Revival members or anything.

A few days back I travelled to Batamaloo neighbourhood in Srinagar, the capital city of Indian-controlled Kashmir. Coils of barbed wire blocked the desolate roads; thousands of Indian soldiers patrolled the streets to enforce a strict military curfew. I couldn't reach the man I wanted to meet and finally managed to speak to him on the phone.

Marriage is supposed to be a time of happiness, right? A time of joy? A time of unity? A special bond between 2 families , not 2 people, right? Well, not as far as I’m concerned… my wedding will take place on the 14th October! Yikes! Everything was supposedly to run smoothly. Location, theme, hosts, everything was decided! Ok, I may be slightly tedious; but I really really absolutely loathe attending wedding functions. But, no doubt, I’m going to have to attend this one. So after buttering them up I talked to my parents/in laws, if it could be just a small reception. Where the doll and guy sign papers; and wahey they’re legally bided by Islamic law and British law . But, no, they weren’t having that. I didn’t tackle the situation after so.
