Undercover Mosques
An undercover investigation has revealed disturbing evidence of Islamic extremism at a number of Britain's leading mosques and Muslim institutions, including an organisation praised by the Prime Minister.
Secret video footage reveals Muslim preachers exhorting followers to prepare for jihad, to hit girls for not wearing the hijab, and to create a 'state within a state'. Many of the preachers are linked to the Wahhabi strain of Islam practised in Saudi Arabia, which funds a number of Britain's leading Islamic institutions.
At the Sparkbrook mosque, run by UK Islamic Mission (UKIM), an organisation that maintains 45 mosques in Britain and which Tony Blair has said 'is extremely valued by the government for its multi-faith and multicultural activities', a preacher is captured on film praising the Taliban. In response to the news that a British Muslim solider was killed fighting the Taliban, the speaker declares: 'The hero of Islam is the one who separated his head from his shoulders.'
Another speaker says Muslims cannot accept the rule of non-Muslims. 'You cannot accept the rule of the kaffir [non-Muslim],' a preacher, Dr Ijaz Mian, tells a meeting held within the mosque. 'We have to rule ourselves and we have to rule the others.'
Inside the Green Lane mosque in Birmingham, a preacher is recorded saying: 'Allah has created the woman deficient.' A satellite broadcast from the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh, beamed into the Green Lane mosque suggests that Muslim children should be hit if they don't pray: 'When he is seven, tell him to go and pray, and start hitting them when they are 10.' Another preacher is heard saying that if a girl 'doesn't wear hijab, we hit her'.
In a statement to Channel 4, Lord Ahmed, the convener of the government's Preventing Extremism taskforce, said he was worried about the programme's consequences: 'While I appreciate that exaggerated opinions make good TV, they do not make for good community relations.'
A spokesman for Green Lane mosque said Islam does not denigrate women and that the instruction to hit a child was merely a smack. He accused C4 of intensifying the 'witch-hunt' against Muslims.

excuses, excuses....
theres only so much you can defend...
you CANT defend most of the stuff the like sof abu usamah, khalid yasin and others said...
how can u for god sake...they damage and corrupt Islamic teachings and we're suppose to defend them cos they're Muslims??? i dont think so...
they need to be held accountable...
Shaykh Abdul Hakim Murad was the only voice of wisdom.... he clarified that these so called Imams dont represent mainstream Islam.... as Islam doesnt teach you to hate the west, hate all non muslims, to beat women who dont wear hijab, to say women are deficient, to say we can marry women before they reach puberty(bilal phillips!!!???) and other rubbish like this.
Its time to be brave and stand up and say these lot dont represent us or majority of Muslims in UK....
yes , we need unity etc but you defend whats right, whats teh best for teh deen...and not defend fabrications, incitement of hatred, sexist views, some disgusting comments etc....
these people damage Islam with their views an dthey help the govt achieve their agenda...cos now i wont be surprised if govt clamps down on mosques, imams etc.... and we should all thank the so called imams who preach their hate.
UKIm as an organisation is good... but if you invite dodgy imams to come up with trash of course ppl are gonna question the organisation....
and the idea that sufis or people of traditional Islam dont believe in jihad on battlefield or in political Islam...is another massive fabrication.

Having a pic taken with someone is not act of allegiance.
What about this thread?

It is not a laughing matter. If muslim imams are preaching hate and muslims don't get rid of those people the BNP and the far right parties will.

sorry if it caused offence mark. i understand what your saying. your words are wise, and should be taken seriously.
i think there is an issue, but the documentary mucked it all up and went about it in the funniest way.
but yep ur right mate, as you've got Muslim friends, I'm sure you would have made a better job of highlighliting the problem. i know you would not have have resorted to quoting people out of context, or doing mash up jobs of piecing bits and pieces of footage together trying to make up a sentance that preaches hate. (reminds me of a youtube video of G.W. Bush saying he likes the look of blairs rear - trust the kids who put that together did a better job than dispatches 😂 )
ur safe bro, we need real christians like you to tell it how it is, to make peace and not stir up even more hatred like that documentary did. definatly missed u mate.. welcome back.

Thank you i'm surprised you remember me. You didn't offend me I just think that gives support to the far right political parties. I don't think this documentary was made to stir up trouble but if it's true people need to know about it espeacially muslims so they can do something about it.
The BNP will probably use the or reports about it to gain membership but I don't think that was why it was made. Muslims applauded the bbc when it went undercover to report on the BNP but now they make excuses like it's out of context or arabic can't be translated. I don't think that's going to work. When all else fails they can always pull the racisr card but that's getting a little old.

Why the picture brings a smile to my face well let me tell you. Each time I see such blessed people i instantly think off the beautiful prophet and his beautiful Sunnah. May Allah bless these wonderful Shaykhs always. Ameen.
And no bro, i wasn't fooled into finding my Shaykh, Allah has shown me the true light.

A picture might very well tell you 'a million stories' but it's still not an act of allegiance.
You are reading into it what you want to read into it.
These two things, even if true, still prove no allegiance.
What's shirk got to do with it?
Try, if you can, to keep your answer specific to Dispatches.
Beast Tue, 16 Jan 2007 - 21:31
Undercover Mosques
And you haven't?
So you're taking the words of the kuffar Daily Mail seriously?
You really need to keep your answers precise and to the point. It will help to get your message across. And easy with the pontificating.
I agree with you that SMC are bad news. But I can say that without calling people munafiqeen or baatil or using any such terms. You should give a degree of respect too.
You are putting too many people into one narrow category. SMC is not the same as RMW. Just as Osama bin Laden is not the same Abu Usamah.
By putting too many people into one category and casting aspersions on them, you are
1) fulfilling the Sufi vs Wahabbi divide
2) creating fitnah not unity
3) doing just what the Islamophobes do
Oh, and you still haven't explained the relevance of the Daily Mail article.
You are just clutching at straws and trying to make everything fit your view of the world.

Get lost FREEK. No one wants you here so GO AWAY. Don't you understand basic English? Didn't they teach you anything at school?
I aint going to reply to your stupid, meaningless posts. May Allah hold you account on the day of resurrection for all your false accusations and slander against the Awliya Allah.
Ps: Admin please ban the looser, its obvious he has nothing better to do. Shazan, go and do some serious repenting rather than causing fights here or go and sit in a gathering of dhikr, it may bring tranquillity to your heart.

It's no good posting a smiley and then continuing to be secatrian and divisive.
And that has what to do with what?
Your absolute belief that you know who is a munafiqeen is keeping you narrow-minded and angry.
You need to to accept that you don't know what is in other people's hearts.
You need to back-up your claims whilst also being open the possibilty of being persuaded to a different point of view.
Did anyone here say anything different?
What made you want to comment on the Daily Mail article?
You haven't replied to this bit. I don't know why you quoted it.
In your case the Dispatches docu is irrelevent here.
Previously, you made it quite clear to us that you do hate Jews.
