That picture duznt actually show the moon splitting, it jus shows a dent in it 😂

If sum1 can find commentary by a scholor on the actual hadith stating the sign of d.o.j. it would help. Duz the sign mean the moan will split into 2 seperate peices, or duz it mean it will be de-faced. Another similar example of this i remember is the particular sign, which states that a mountain of gold will be found, and many people will die trying to get the gold.

And, some people decided that this "gold" mentioned in hadith was a metaphor for "oil". But scholors who researched this a lil deeper came to conclusion that it will actually be gold, and it is no metaphor. They came to this conclusion by looking into the wording of the hadith in its original form. And, nothing suggested the hadith stating the mountain will contain "something like" gold, but it infact meant actual real gold.

So, this funny thingymabob on the moon, (or the photoshop job) which we see is prolly nuffin to do with the moon splittin in 2. Cuz, its not split.

Oh yeh, another science thingy question. the moon has no atmosphere, and it is round, so if sumthing is on the bottom of the moon, it will fall cuz theres no gravity, so wudnt rocks etc fall off n possibily land on the earth? im sure i got a moon rock in ma bck yard.

Moon does have gravity, prportional to its mass, and its mass is significant such that stuff on the bottom shouldn't fall off. BTW with a sperical object its all the bottom/top. 😃

hmmm, so if the earth is round, as people like me to beleive, then on the bottom of the earth, if u put summin soooooo so sos so heavy, like a sumo wrestler from japan, then why dnt they fall. Oh and how come the japanese only come in 2 shapes, either really small, or absolutely hugh, do they kno no moderation?

Basically If we look at Newton's universal law of Gravitation (its seriously called that!) then even if the sumo was 'heavy enough to fall off the Earth' that wouldn't make the Earth heavy enough to fall off of the Sumo, so effectively no observable differance. I think you are focusing to much on a universal fixed point of referance about which things must act, althought hat may not be a bad thing. :?

As for huge or small, No idea. 😃 Not going near that one.

Thers a beautiful moon out today, and i can seeit from my bedroom roof window, n its very much in one peice as of yet.

So it aint split, the moon isnt falling and we are safe, for now...But for how long?
