what was the chorus?

i remember a track bineg played, and then after that it was Owais Qadri

my brothers also said it was too broad of a topic, not concise enough

well....Ed gave us like 20 diffrent areas we had to cover, and the lack of callers didnt help - altho 1 did call as we were bouta go off air

Darth V-Hayderwhat was the chorus?

i remember a track bineg played, and then after that it was Owais Qadri

It was in Arabic.

I recorded 5 mins of it on my phone.

I'll attempt a transliteration:

Allah Allah Allah Allah
Allah Allah Allah Allah
Allah Allah Allah Allah
Allah Allah Allah Allah

Al Nabi Salu ala
[inaudible] Salu ala
Al Nabi Salu ala
[inaudible] Salu ala

That's the best I can do without seriously skewing any of the words.

I'll email the radio station.

Darth V-HayderBTW Aasiyah, Brother Asim didnt mean to offend when he said that about the bosnians, nor was he blaming anythng upoin them, he was jus stating what happened and used that as way to get a point across. i believe he cleared that up on air

i heard his clarification. lol he wasnt too willing to read out the txt; soz if it was too harsh, but i was miffed by his comments at the time.

i accept his clarification about 'they were so integrated YET the genocide happened' (not 'SO the genocide happened', which is wot it sounded like 1st time round) but still, he was judging (wot with the reference to wine). not acceptable. how cud he paint all those ppl with the same dirty brush?! :?

salaam

i heard almost all the show last night...and yes , it was very good, covered the topic thoroughly.
zahid was hilarious as alaways but also made the show lively, and made very good points. That is why he is the Media Spokesman for The Revival.
Irfan khan, sub editor- as always was very good....
darth hayder and seraph...are getting better... they spoke more than the night before....
the new bro, asim...was informative and well spoken as well.

i can safely say , i dont need to go anymore....as it is very demanding when you have to attend everynight...now Darth and Seraph can take over, inshallah

well I think Ed adds a certain touch to the show, the reason i personally found the "eid not weed" show more better was mainy cuz it was more interestin a topic, and the fact my connection kept crashing the 2nd time didnt help me in understanding the 2nd show properly...

I wish we could borrow Ed for our radio ramadan in Glasgow, what do u say Ed, a one-off for next ramadan?

Sirus Mon, 31 Oct 2005 - 03:39

i agree with you, Ed makes the show better - reflected by the calls we had on friday compared to saturday

but he keeps on trying to get out of everything

i talk too much and get too emotional....

and darth-hayduh.... i dont get out of everything....i end up doing everything.... a guy needs a break every now and then... i get tired aswell u know πŸ˜ƒ

Sirus Mon, 31 Oct 2005 - 16:01

woh woh woh woh there... this aint my star wars cup.

lol Ed no. I agreed to join in on those 2 shows... I NEVER agreed to this being a permanent Gig. Every now and then sure i'll turn up but not on a permanent basis... its just too tiring to run ALL the way over to Rochdale right after Tarawee.

If it was in our home town then no problem (plus we get more call-ins).

I originally only accepted to come along to check it out, not participate... which i cant seem to remember how that happened.

Besides your the life and soul of the show MrEd... without you... it would be lets talk about the weather show.

Seraphim Mon, 31 Oct 2005 - 20:25

AdminHey you got a year to fight about it...

Ah but who knows if we shall ever be blessed with another Ramadan??

Only Allah (swt) knows.... and hes remaining tight lipped about it... no matter how much i ask.
