A beautiful Poem

God created heaven and hell for a reason.

Hell is there to fear. So fearing it is good and people should not be condemned for it.

Heaven is a good thing to want, so if people do good wanting to reach paradise they should not be punished for it.

It is like saying I work to earn some money, and because of that I should not be paid.

Of course God created them for a reason, just like he created us for a reason and the rest of the universe.

I think you missed the point of this poem.

Who said fearing hell is not good? And who said aiming for Heaven is bad? You clearly missed the point of the poem.

(this is also mentioned in Quran Shareef...not sure which Surah. But its something along the lines of to get closer to Allah you have to love the Prophet ﷺ )

there was a while where i used to think, it doesnt matter, im muslim, i'll just burn in hell for a while and then go paradize

idiot much, i just didnt realise the GRANDEUR of hell.

Now i Fear God and Hope for His mercy.

and i know Jahannam is where im gona end up if im "bad" i guess there's an element of fear.. and jannah, well...ALL THE STUFF YOU WANT!!!! but i wanna deserve it, i'm the type who doesnt enjoy good stuff until i feel like i deserved it, so i'll work for Jannah!

but really its all about Allah <3
and the prophet (pbuh) and well...when you read about him and what he did etc...and you're feeling a bit emotionally down, then you might well end up in tears at the fear of not guetting to meet him (pbuh) 😢

if you enter jannah it is because of the mercy of Almighty Allaah, not beacuse of your deeds.

Jalaladin Rumi is a great poet and mystic! I was just reading about him today !The poetry he writes is breath taking and comes so natural to him.
