Look on the bright side...Smile...and say Alhamdulillah!
Salaam alaykum,
Firstly I want to say I don’t think I could EVER say Alhamdulillah enough, Never, Ever!
This is because recently I feel I was put through a little hardship and before this my life had been great, nothing *really* to complain of except I didn’t realise this. I didn’t realise this after that little test. When I was put through it, I thought my whole life was going to change, a change for the worse, I couldn’t help but worry, I thought Allah (swt) wasn’t listening to my duaas, I thought Wrong.
Allah(swt) did accept my duaas, I just was worrying so much and being so impatient that I didn’t even realise! i carried on doing my duaas oblivious to this fact but still carried on being upset and angry and having every other negative feeling [not towards Allah (Swt)] I took comfort in Salah, Qur'an and du'aas just wanting it all to be over, wanting to have my perfect life back, wanting to get rid of the horrible feelings. The salah and Qur'an always gave an immediate effect, they always made me feel absolutely great and all the worries in the world disappeared! Then i started to realise that my duaas were being accepted, thats when i felt the greatest, the happiest, the most thankful Alhamdulillah!
Everything began to go back to normal and i realised then just how much Allah(swt)does for me. i appreciated and still appreiciate every single little thing that i have Just because of Allah (swt); the fact that im breathing, my life, my family, my friends, my home, every single thing i learnt i should never ever take for granted because i have only got it because of Allah (swt) i appreciated my "boring" old life again, i appreciated the most mundane of things that make my life what it is and realised that every single day was great even if "bad" things happen you just have to look at the countless blessings of Allah (swt) and know that it really isnt bad at all! Alhamdulillah!
I think sometimes people need to go through hardship, they need to be put through tests, they need to feel a little hurt because that is what makes you turn to Allah (swt. Allah(swt) will test you to your limits but not anymore, he will get you through everything and anything he puts you through and by getting through this you will become a better, stronger person Insh'allah. Tbh im quite glad Allah(swt) put me through this because my imaan had definitely gone stronger and i am a lot more appreciative Alhamdulillah!
Hope I haven't bored you too much, i just want to leave you with a couple of "tips" based on things that i have learnt and that have been re-enforced in my life :
- During tough times Do not lose hope, faith and belief in Allah(Swt)
- Allah(swt) always listens to your duaas, just be patient.
- Read The Qur'an and obviously Salah it will make you feel so good!
- On a "bad" day appreciate the good things in life and you'll find there's a lot more of them then the "bad"
- Don't worry too much, it's not good for your health and well-being!
- Don't assume things cuz believe me you can make an ass of your self!
- Take your own great advice and you will be as "brave" as i was! [to someone in particular and they are the one who think im brave im not bigging myself up lol]
- Be happy
- Smile
- Say ALHAMDULILLAH
P.s Mawlid-un-Nabi(saw) Mubarak!! 🙂

Glad to see you've got happier days.
Whatever doesn't break you should probably maybe make you stronger.
(I like the luke warm sentiment in that sentence.)
