Absolutely no doubting it, Amir Khan is washed up. I have watched boxing weekly since i was about 12 and am now 26, having already watched all of Khan's previous fights I and anyone else that had; knew he was gonna be spectacularly knocked out and unfortunately (I really did want him to succeed!)against Breidis Prescott it was very likely as soon as the fighters were matched!
He will win his next 10 fights as again he will be pitted against past it fighters with little or no punch and a far less entertaining Khan will keep out the way of the punches; as much as he can, but the very next time he takes a hit on the temple he will go again.
At the end of the day this is the only formula I know:
Most gifted fighter in the world but no chin = No Hope like Khan
Not particularly gifted but good chin & heart = A chance
Incredibly gifted and a great chin/heart (as in can recover) = Great Champion like Joe Calzaghe/Floyd Mayweather Jr.
I really did want him (khan) to be a world champ, after all i think he seems a good guy, but it will never happen.... wish it could tho!

He ran over an old man in bolton city centre a while back when he skipped a red light!

He fought last week - I think the day before I made that post.

Amir Khan wins in the 5th round.
Barrera was bleeding too much for him to continue.
Amir was all over him throughout the previous rounds.
Yes he won and was not really challenged, but Amir Khan's Glass chin was not tested either.
There is always going to be the suspicion that a single punch can floor him at any time no matter how well he is doing.
Ofcourse that can happen to anyone, but its being built into his reputation now.

They should have an arena behjind the houses of parliament where Gordon Brown and the Tory guy can have a bear fight.
