The Revival is no longer interesting.

Mujahid'

The Revival used to be a site of many. You want news, politics, religion, you want to laugh, joke, tell you filling, you want to debate, speak freely and you got the place. Today The Revival is full with childish topics, it is no longer a place of interest and you can hardly hear any body speaking about it any more.

The Revival used to be like most web browser's homepage. The first thing they want open when accessing their Web page was The Revival. People liked to laugh before they start morning work or change their mode when they had bad day. What most of you here thought was useless topics were the only topics that people out there were interested to read.

If the intention of this Forum is to keep it for childish members then that is fine but if the intention is those browsers out there, then I suggest you make it for them and the only way to put The Revival to its original set is to change Administrators and moderators of this Forum. Give real members a little space to re-call people via their ways and make it live again.

He has a (well a few) point(s).

For instance, the actual site is not regularly updated. My fault.

We used to have all the latest relevant news, some opinion pieces etc. Updated more or less daily. We focused alot on news.

Now the homepage has not changed for over a week (when I made a small change!).

However behind the scenes more is happening than is visible.

It is the calm before the storm, as I am focussing on the structure etc atm.

If any of you think a topic, or article is relevant to the site, please let me know.

Even thought i think mujahid has lost the plot in most of his posts, in this case i kind of agree with him!!!!!!
The forum is not what it used to be- i suppose thats mainly due ot the fact that it is a totally new forum now , and that we had to start again from scratch last week or so!!!! plus a few active members have left or should i say have not registered AGAIN!
I suppose it is upto eveyone who uses this forum to make it what it is. If we find topics lame and childish then start interesting and relevent topics.

in terms of the site, it has not been updated as often as we would like. We have to bare in mind this site is done voluntary, we have daytime jobs, and we also do the magazine plus other activities.....so help, ideas, contribution etc will be more than appreciated by anyone from this forum. Your ideas of how the site can be improved will be appreciated.

To give us ideas what is everyones favourite websites and why?

ok, your commenst please

How can you find The Revival boring when it has such enthralling posts as this?[/quote]

I agreed with seraph and she said that it is not as interesting as it was before. I'm not saying its not interesting.

What’s happened to the old members who were regulars on here?

Yuit, Aphrodite, Dave, Sickmusic and so on seem to have disappeared...

I hope they haven't been sacked.

What is so bad about saying that 'I agree'??

better then doing something short and sweet rather than waffling on something based upon a small thing.

Beast — Tue, 5 Jul 2005 - 16:20

Say why you agree. Give your own reasons for agreeing. Say something witty, something interesting. Something worth reading. Something worth the effort.

And I shall call him... Mini me!

Seriously non of our status' here are so high, as to add validity to a point by just agreeing.

saying 'I agree' and that is all is a form of spam and it does not bring anything to the conversation.

Saying 'I agree' brings my view and opinion without waffling on but next time I will give a reason just for the forums sake.

I don't want to entertain members by just making a discussion point but since the forum is new I will co-operate.

Please PM me for anymore enquires about my posts.
I will reply as soon as possible.

I agree you are not the requisite entertainment here. Nor do you need to be. (Yes waffle is also bad, but on The Revival Forums its our diet of choice! '8))
