Contributor —

The year of 2004 has passed into our (long forgotten) memories. Alot happened in the year with the forces of good and evil engaging on multiple levels for the hearts and minds of individuals. Many were seduced by the dark side. Others tried to see the light, and show it to others.

Here We will state who we think helped the year to make it a more pleasant environment for muslims.

This is the moment you have all been waiting for. After long consideration, discussions, and taking in mind the nominations from TheRevival forums, We have decided who we think are the winners of 2004.

You may not know his name, but We are sure most of you have seen him on the news. (He looks like Inspector Clusoe!).

2004 was dominated by International issues like the Iraq war, Israel and Palestine issue etc and Abdul Bari Atwan has defended the Muslim world magnificently - fighting and answering the bias and prejudiced media, the lying politicians and misinformed public. Mr Atwan has defended the Muslim and Islamic view point at every opportunity.

He may not be as famous as other Muslim personalities but he is one of those people who is carrying out the media jihad and is definitely benefitting the Muslim Community.
