A 29-year-old man has become the youngest grandfather in Britain

lollywood β€”

A 29-year-old man has become the youngest grandfather in Britain after his 14-year-old daughter gave birth, a media report said.

Shem Davies - of Bridgend, Wales - was also 14 when he became a father for the first time, The Sun reported.

His schoolgirl daughter Tia now has had a girl before her 15th birthday, it said.

Davies - who split with Tia's mother Kelly three months after she was born - said he was 'absolutely delighted' at the news.

Davies was 'shocked' when his daughter told him she was pregnant by her 15-year-old boyfriend.

He also has a nine-month-old son with new girlfriend Robyn Thomas.

'One minute Tia's a baby, the next she's pregnant. I could have yelled at her, but what's the point? I know how hard it's going to be for them because I was in their shoes at the same age. I didn't handle it very well when I became a dad at 14. I wasn't able to cope with it and I ran away,' he said.

Tia's mother Kelly said: 'My worst nightmare has always been that Tia would repeat my mistake and get pregnant young. I always lectured her about contraception

12 Ways to Maximize Everyday in Ramadan

The most beautiful month has come upon us. Almighty Allah says:

β€œThe month of Ramadan is the one in which the Quran was sent down, a guidance for mankind, clear proofs for the guidance, the Criterion; so whoever amongst you witnesses this month, let him fast it." (Surah al-Baqarah 2:185)

In this blessed month good deeds are multiplied:

The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: β€œWhoever draws near to Allah during it (Ramadan) with a single characteristic from the characteristics of (voluntary) goodness, he is like whoever performs an obligatory act in other times. And whoever performs an obligatory act during it, he is like whoever performed seventy obligatory acts in other times.” (Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah, no. 1887)

We should thank Allah abundantly for giving us the opportunity to be able to benefit from such a blessed month. But as we all know life is very uncertain & unfortunately many will have passed away before the coming of this blessed month & so it may well be our very last Ramadan as we may not be alive to see the next.

Therefore we should treat this Ramadan as our last and do our utmost to ensure that we maximize each precious second in this blessed month to ensure that we gain maximum benefit from it

Suhoor/Sehri/Pre Dawn Meal/Iftar

Lioness of Allah β€”

Assalamualykum,

So with Ramadan creeping closer day by day, i was just curious, wondering about what people eat at sehri.

I read something once about the Prophet's pre dawn meal, saying it's sunnah to eat at least a date and drink some water , but i'm not sure where its from. Please correct me if i'm wrong though.

Anyhoo, what do you guys normally eat for Suhoor?

I normally have a bowl of cereal, Coco Pops or Cheerios,:D but iknow people who eat Chappatis (Roti) with curry. (Personally i could probably not be able to stomach that, that early)

*EDIT*: We may as well talk about iftari too now... I normally break my fast with dates and water, a lil' bit of fruit and then... Stuff down all the fried stuff....and maybe eat roti too πŸ˜›
But thats just me what about you guys??

Let Za discussion BEGIN!!!

me: Aww it's nice of you to come down for your sis

his mum: yeah, he comes all the time for her, she doesn't

me:You should make her come down for you too!

him: well I get sawab (reward) for it anyway

me: πŸ™‚ aww, nice one! (ok I didn't say exactly that, did a typical paki reaction thing instead :p )

Norway bombing/attack

Whats happening to the sensible Revvy members who usually create topics about the news?

Im useless at that stuff...

here's a simple link about what's happned and coz its yahoo; underneath its got lots of related links

then there's the guardian article posted by Ya'qub on Tribby.

Like most within the far right, while Breivik expressed profound concern over an array of threats in wider society, he appeared to view the mainstream parties as either unwilling or unable to respond adequately. He was at one time a member of the rightwing Progress party that has also rallied against immigration and voiced criticism of Muslims, but he later denounced members of this party as "politically correct career politicians" who were not prepared to "take risks and work for idealistic goals".

I spent four years interviewing far right activists, many of whom rejected political violence. Yet what became clear during this research was that there is, unquestionably, a culture of violence within the broader far rightwing subculture. Many of the ideas that were voiced during this research have also come to light over the past 48 hours: the perceived threat posed by Muslim communities, a belief that mainstream parties are incapable of dealing with this threat and strong emphasis on a "clash of civilizations" between members of the majority population and minority groups.
