Want a House in the Highest part of Paradise?
Want a House in the Highest Part of Paradise?
The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, “I guarantee a house in Jannah (Paradise) for one who gives up arguing, even if he is in the right; and I guarantee a house in the middle of Jannah for one who abandons lying even when joking / for the sake of fun; and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Jannah for one who has good manners.” [narrated by Abu Dawud]
Subhanallah! Look at how Almighty Allah rewards us for being patient when interacting with others. So every time someone mocks us, tries to argue or fight with us or we avoid an argument even if we are in the right just for the pleasure of Allah then we are guaranteed a house in Paradise.
But if we be the best towards others in terms of manners regardless of how others treat us then we are guaranteed a house in the highest part of Paradise!
Subhanallah the generosity of our Lord the exalted one is infinite and not measurable!
Questions we must all ask ourselves!
Why is it that we know the purpose of our life yet we are not fulling the purpose of our creation?
Why is it that we know we could die at any second yet we are not preparing for our imminent death?
Why is it that we know our life is short & temporary & that the Hereafter is for eternity yet we continue to invest everything into our short temporary life which can end at any second but neglect the Hereafter which will last forever?
These are questions we must keep asking ourselves because we have become truly deluded chasing a path that leads to a dead end rather than a path that will lead to eternal success

Swedish women don headscarves after assault on Muslim
Swedish women have been posting photos of themselves in traditional Muslim headscarves in solidarity with a woman attacked apparently for wearing a veil.
Among the protesters from various faiths were politicians and TV hosts.
The "hijab outcry" campaigners urged the government to "ensure that Swedish Muslim women are guaranteed the right to... religious freedom".

'Follow the Islamic way to save the world’ Prince Charles urges environmentalists
Prince Charles yesterday urged the world to follow Islamic ‘spiritual principles’ in order to protect the environment.
In an hour-long speech, the heir to the throne argued that man’s destruction of the world was contrary to the scriptures of all religions – but particularly those of Islam.
He said the current ‘division’ between man and nature had been caused not just by industrialisation, but also by our attitude to the environment – which goes against the grain of ‘sacred traditions’.
Outspoken: Prince Charles speaks to Islamic studies scholars at Oxford. He argued that man’s destruction of the world was particularly contrary to Islam
Charles, who is a practising Christian and will become the head of the Church of England when he succeeds to the throne, spoke in depth about his own study of the Koran which, he said, tells its followers that there is ‘no separation between man and nature’ and says we must always live within our environment’s limits.
The prince was speaking to an audience of scholars at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies – which attempts to encourage a better understanding of the culture and civilisation of the religion.
His speech, merging religion with his other favourite subject, the environment, marked the 25th anniversary of the organisation, of which he is patron.
He added: ‘The inconvenient truth is that we share this planet with the rest of creation for a very good reason – and that is, we cannot exist on our own without the intricately balanced web of life around us.
‘Islam has always taught this and to ignore that lesson is to default on our contract with creation.’

Do we have "Double Intentions" this Ramadan?
Do we have "Double Intentions" this Ramadan?
As we fast approach the end of Ramadan we should reflect upon what we have achieved this Ramadan. Whatever good we have acquired then we must continue to implement it throughout the year and not just in Ramadan.
Unfortunately many of us have "double intentions" in our hearts. What i mean by double intentions is that many of us have the intention in our hearts just to stop bad habits and evil for the duration of Ramadan, but as soon as Ramadan is over then we intend to go back to our bad habits & evil ways.
Many of us intend to go back to our evil ways after Ramadan
Many of us before Ramadan take drugs, or drink, go clubbing, fornicate or commit adultery. Others may put on their hijaab and wear modest clothing just for Ramadan and then take off their hijaab and continue wearing tight clothes when Ramadan finishes. Or many of us pray our Salaah in Ramadan but as soon as it is over we abandon our Salaah and go back to our old ways neglecting the very purpose of our life and living for this world as if they are going to remain in it forever.
Allah knows our intentions
We must realise that Allah KNOWS us better than we know ourselves and he knows EXACTLY what we are thinking and what our intentions are deep in our hearts. So we must NOT think that we can gain mercy and forgiveness for all of our past and present sins and have all of our fasts and good deeds accepted when we have these "double intentions"in our hearts that we intend to go back to our old ways again straight after Ramadan.
So those of us who have such intentions should know that Allah knows exactly what is in our hearts and what we are intending. We may be able to hide it from others but we cannot hide anything from Allah. How can we think our fasts & good deeds throughout Ramadan will be accepted by having such intentions in our hearts? Those of us who have such intentions are just wasting their time and effort because we cannot expect acceptance of good deeds when we "intend" in our hearts to go back the our evil ways.
By having such intentions we are in effect throwing away our fasts and good deeds and instead of gaining anything from Ramadan we will be more worse off than before. Surely this will be a source of HUGE regret in the Hereafter.
What use is giving up food & drink if we have "Double intentions"?
We should think to ourselves what use is our giving up food and refraining from all evil just for this one month when we intend go back to the evil we did after Ramadan is over?
Ramadan is an amazing opportunity for us to better ourselves and get rid of bad habits and evil so that we can get closer to Allah and become better Muslims. This training will prepare us for the rest of the year. Ramadan is a perfect opportunity for us to gain Allah's mercy and his forgiveness for ALL of our sins past and present.
A time when we can strengthen our imaan (faith) and get closer to Allah. A time when we can change our lives FOREVER! Where we can realise the purpose of our life and start making the necessery changes so that we can make the best of our time in this world to prepare for our final destination - THE HEREAFTER!
A time where we can top up our good deed balances and empty our sin accounts. How unfortunate is the peson who gains NOTHING in his good deed account but only increases his bad deed account.
But how can we expect to gain anything from Ramadan when we have "double intentions" in our hearts? How do we expect to gain Allah's mercy and his forgiveness where our intentions are to go back to our old ways as soon as Ramadan ends?
[SIZE=3]Some only gain hunger from fasting and sleeplesness from praying all night
The Prophet (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
”Perhaps a fasting person will gain nothing from his fast except hunger, and perhaps the one who stands to pray at night will gain nothing from his standing except sleeplessness.” (Ibn Majah)
How unfortunate is such a person who fasted the whole month and made so much effort praying in the nights when all along he had other intentions in his heart and has wasted all of his good deeds and gains nothing from them except hunger, thirst and tiredness.
Its not too late to change our intentions
It is not too late to redeem ourselves. We CAN still change our intentions if we want our fasts and good deeds to be accepted. We can still change our intentions if we want Allah's mercy and forgiveness for ALL of our sins. We can still change our intentions if we want to get closer to Allah. And we can still change our intentions if we want to be successful in this world and the next.
Therefore we must abadndon these double intentions. We must NEVER intend to go back to our evil ways and bad habits that we had before Ramadan. We must continue to implement and build upon the good we acquired throughout Ramadan and continue to try to become better Muslims. We must make effort on our imaan so that we may get closer to Allah and only then will we realise why we are here and the purpose of our life so that we may make the necessery changes to ourselves so that we may fulfill that purpose to the best of our ability.
Our daily lives are FULL of distractions so we must keep reminding ourselves that we are not in this world for our own pleasures. That we are not here to live for this world but that we are here to prepare for the hereafter which is our eternal abode. We are just travellers here on a journey to the hereafter which is our ultimate and final destination.
This Ramadan may be our last
It is a bit of a cliche nowadays when people say "this Ramadan may be our last" but for some of us it really WILL be our last and that is a reality and not just a cliche.
How many of us know or have heard of people who have died recently? How many times have we been to a grave yard and have seen amongst the dead, Muslims of ALL ages.
How many of those who died knew at the time of their death that they were going to die? Many of us are living a life of deception as we think we will live until old age. That is not the case. Many of us will go a long time before that. We must not deceve ourselves into thinking that we have a long time left in this world. This life is very short and death for many of us will come sooner rather than later.
We all have 50% chance of dying at ANY moment and 50% is a huge chance of dying yet we live everyday like we will live forever in this world but we are asleep and so heedless. We must now awaken for time will not wait for any of us!
When the deceased are buried at the cemetery, the grave next to it is dug straight away ready for the next burial. It may you or me that could be buried next.
This could be our last chance
Therefore let us not miss this opportunity to make necessery changes to ourselves and the way we live our lives. We must never decieve ourselves into thinking that we always have next Ramadan to change or that we will change after this or that event. Or after we are married or at old age etc. This is pure deception of shaythan. We must live everyday like it is our last because it very well could be.
Therefore the time to change is NOW. We must try and maintain the good we acquired throughout Ramadan and build upon it throughout the year. We must control our tongues and abandon false speech like lying, backbiting, slandering, gossiping, swearing etc otherwise:
The Prophet, (SalAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “Whoever does not abandon lying and evil actions, Allah is not in need of him abandoning his food and his drink” (Al Bukhari)
How can we possibly go back to our old bad habits and evil ways again?
We must NEVER go back to our old ways ever again. We must leave the past behind us now and move forward. Yesterday is gone and will never come back. But what matters is NOW for we still have time to repent and change our ways until our soul reaches our throat and by then it will be too late.
The sisters must continue to wear their hijaab properly and dress in a modest manner. Those of us who use intoxicants must abandon such evil for we are raised the way we died. so the one who dies intoxicated we will be raised that way and Allah will not even look at the one who died in such a wretched manner. Surely for him there is eternal doom. So is a short buzz really worth risking eternal doom? You decide..
Those of us who go clubbing or other places of evil must abandon going near such places. Those are the places of shaythan. What if the angel of death were to take our soul whilst we were in such places? May Allah have mercy on us.
Most of all we MUST NEVER abandon our Salaah. It is the very purpose of our lives and the first question on the day of judgement will be about our Salaah. If we fail to answer those questions then we will fail in the hereafter.
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "The first thing which will be judged among a man's deeds on the Day of Resurrection is the Prayer. If this is in good order, then he will succeed and prosper, but if it is defective, then he will fail and lose." [Tirmidhi]
Those of us who abandon the Salaah have abandoned our belief. Some scholars have said he who abandons it is no longer Muslim. This is said based on a hadith such as this one: "The covenant between us and them is prayer, so if anyone abandons it, he has become a disbeliever." [Ahmad]
We must NOT let the Qur'an gather dust for another year but we jmust maintain a good relationship with the Qur'an for it will be our intercessor on the day of judgement:
The Prophet (Sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Read the Qur’an, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.” [Sahih Muslim]
Therefore we should continue reciting the Qur'an throughout the year and aim to complete it at least once a month if not more. If not then at least a page a day. We should try to recite it with its meanings so that we may understand what Allah is telling us and what he wants from us. If we want to know Allah then we should try to understand his words.
We should continue to sincerely repent for Allah loves those who repent. We should continue asking of Allah and begging him for mercy and forgiveness. We should thank him each day for he gives more to those who are thankful. We should remember him and glorify and praise him.
We should continue to guard and protect our eyes, ears, tongue and privates away from sin and harm. We should continue to be the best towards our families, relatives and towards ALL Muslims and non Muslims. We should maintain the ties of kinship.
Let us continue with the good we have acquired as well as continuing to make the necessery changes to ourselves so that we may continue in bettering and improving ourselves as Muslims. Let us NEVR go back to our old habits or the evil we did before Ramadan because by leaving our Salaah and going back to our bad habits and evil ways we would have wasted our WHOLE Ramadan and it will be of no avail.
How do we know whether our good deeds in Ramadan were accepted or not?
Eid day and beyond will be the biggest test for many of us. It maybe that our supposed "friends" call us up to try and influence us to go back to our evil ways and bad habits. Those are NOT our real friends! We must keep away from such people for such company is POISON!
We must be strong and fear Allah. We must distance ourselves from such people and NOT be ashamed to tell them that we fear Allah and our desire is to get closer to him so thereafore we will not be indulging in such activities.
If we want to know whether or not our good deeds in Ramadan is accepted or not then the best way to know is if we continue praying our Salaah on time and we continue implementing and building upon the good we acquired throughout Ramadan. We will know if our good deeds were accepted if we are not the same as we are before Ramadan but that we have changed our ways for the better and we are obeying the commands of Allah and refraining from the bad habits and evil we left before Ramadan.
Finally..
We must fear Allah and think what if we were to die in a state of committing sins? Surely we would die the death of a wretched dog! We do not want to die in such a manner.
Do we not want the best pleasure imaginable which is to see the face of our creator in Jannah?
The Prophet (Sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “When the inhabitants of Paradise enter Paradise, Allah will say to them,
‘Do you want Me to give you anything more?’
They will reply, ‘Have You not made our faces bright? Have You not brought us into Paradise and moved us from Hell?’
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) then said: Allah will then remove the Veil and they will feel that they have not been awarded anything dearer to them than looking at their Lord.” [Sahih Muslim]
Subhanallah there is NOTHING more pleasurable than looking at face and appearance of the one who created us!
This is our opportunity to change and gain such an amazing opportunity! But our time is short and any moment can be our last!
May Allah enable us to continue with the good we acquired throughout Ramadan and save us from going back to our bad habits and evil ways. May he prevent us from doing anything which angers or displeases him. May Allah make us of the righteous and accept our fasts, good deeds and efforts throughout Ramadan and help us to become better Muslims to live for the hereafter. Ameen

Giving just £10 to charity during Laylatul Qadr equals £30,000!
Giving just £10 to charity during Laylatul Qadr equals £30,000!
The Night of Power is better than a 1000 months, which is over 83 years. Therefore any act of worship during this night is rewarded to worship equal to over 83 years. Subhanallah!
This applies to prayers, Qur'an recitation, Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah) and giving to charity and so on.
Giving to charity during the Night of Power (Laylat-ul-Qadr) for example is equal to an act of giving to charity for a 1000 months = 83.33 years x 365 days = over 30,415 days.
Therefore giving just £10 to charity during such a night is equal to £300,000!
£100 given to charity is equal to £3,000,000!
£1000 given to charity is equal to £30,000,000 and so on.
Subhanallah! What a great return for such a little amount given.
So let us make the best of this opportunity to gain such immense and unimaginable rewards and do as many good deeds as possible and give to charity for the pleasure of Allah and gain incomprehensible rewards in return for so little!
The generosity of Allah is not measurable it is infinite!

Pakistan's Sect Free Mosque
ISLAMABAD – For any Pakistani Muslim, Islamabad’s Qutuba Mosque is no different from other houses of worship as far as the structure, style, and operation.
Yet, a small white banner placed right on the entrance of the mosque makes it unique.
The banner reads “This Mosque is meant for all the Muslims irrespective of their sects,” with two verses of Pakistan’s national Poet Allama Mohammad Iqbal reminding Muslims about the true spirit of prayer and urging them to shun their differences and get united.
“We have hundreds of thousands of Mosques here that represent Shiite, Sunni, Dubendi, Brelvi, and Ahl-e-Hadit school of thought, but there was not a single Mosque that represents Muslims rather than their schools of thought,” Zahid Iqbal, a local businessman behind the mosque idea, told OnIslam.net.
The idea of this unique sect-free mosque, located in Islamabad’s Margallah foothills, first came to Iqbal in 2010.
Facing some procedural problems, he had to declare a school of thought to avoid obstacles regarding future management of the mosque.
“I was asked to declare my school of thought. I said, I am a simple Muslim. I follow Qur’an and Hadit, but they (authorities) insisted,” Zahid said.
Supported by his friends, family members, and well—wishers, he managed to collect a sum of RS 30 million (300,000 dollars) to build the Mosque.
With a capacity of 350 worshippers, the mosque includes a modern library for books of representing different schools of thought and a separate section for women.
Pakistan, home of 180 million people, is a Sunni majority country with 85 percent Sunnis.
Shiites make up 10 percent of the total population.
Pakistan has had a decades-long history of Sunni-Shiite violence that have claimed thousands of lives during last 30 years.
Iran and Saudi Arabia are often blamed for using the Pakistani soil for their proxy war by patronizing the hardliner Shiite and Sunni groups respectively.
Open to All
Naming the mosque after the Qurtuba Mosque of Spain, Zahid said that mosque should be open to all worshippers of all sects.
“Not only Muslims, belonging to any sect, even non-Muslims can come here to seek the light”, he maintained.
“By branding ourselves on sectarian lines, we are not serving Islam. In fact, in that way, we prefer our schools of thought over Islam,” Iqbal said.
“What message we are giving to non-Muslims by hating and killing each other in the name of sects. We have forgotten the message of noble Quran that commands us to hold fast the rope of Allah and don’t divide ourselves into sects.
“Building this Mosque, I have tried to remind this forgotten message to the people,” he added.
The Mosque is run by a board of trustees which hired an Imam, who is doing his masters from International Islamic University, and a coordinator.
Both are Sunnis, but they say they do not mind if even a Shiite Imam leads the prayer there.
“I do not talk about non-issues that often ignite sectarian rivalry, in Friday sermons,” Qari Jehangir, the Imam told OnIslam.net.
“I mostly talk about why Islam is a practical religion? Where honesty, simplicity, altruism, thirst for knowledge, and other qualities that Islam demands from us, have disappeared,” he added.
Zahid and his colleagues were overjoyed with the public response.
“Indeed, it was a completely new thing for the people when they came to know the Mosque in their neighborhood does not belong to any sect”, he said.
“There has been a collective support and encouragement on the part of local community. People generally support and like this idea”, he said.
People from different sects are already praying together, however, he admits, they are not in great numbers.
“But we are not discouraged by the small number of people,” a confident Zahid maintained.
“We are in fact encouraged by the public response, and we are sure, Inshaullah our efforts will soon produce results.”

Worship Plan to Maximise the Last 10 Nights of Ramadan!
Worship Plan to Maximise the Last 10 Nights of Ramadan!
Almighty Allah says in the Quran: {Laylat al-Qadr is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with every decree. (This night is) peace, until the rising of the dawn.} (Al-Qadr 97: 3-5)
This blessed night can be found in any of the last 10 nights of Ramadan which are the most blessed nights of the year & therefore we should increase our Worship & Devotion in them:
Aisha (Ra) reported: With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work harder) and used to pray the whole night, & used to keep his family awake for the prayers. (Bukhari)
Imam Ibrahim Al-Nakha`i (Ra) says: "Good works performed on this night are better than those performed consistently for a thousand months."
Abu Hurayrah (Ra) relates that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "Whoever spends Laylat al-Qadr in prayer, believing in Allah and seeking His reward, will be forgiven all of his past sins." (Al-Bukhari & Muslim)
Subhanallah! What immense rewards are to be gained during these blessed 10 nights. How can we afford to miss out on them? Who is to say that we will be alive next Ramadan? So we must make the best of these 10 nights. If we cannot manage all of the 10 nights then at least as many as we can manage particularly the last 10 odd numbered nights: 21st, 25th, 27th and 29th.
There is a saying: A person who fails to plan, plans to fail. So I have created a Worship plan that we can use to maximise these blessed 10 nights of Ramadan. Before we get into the plan, there are a few points to consider:
10 points to consider in the Worship Plan:
1 - Remain in I'tikaf: The best way of catching the blessed night of Power is to remain in I'tikaf which both men and women can do. If it is not possible for one to remain in I'tikaf for the whole of the 10 days and nights then one should try to remain in I'tikaf as many days and nights as is possible. It is also possible to make intention of Nawafil I'tikaf each and every time one enters the Masjid in order to gain rewards for the time spent in the Masjid.
2 - Worship all the 10 nights: Try to worship the whole of the 10 nights or at least as one can manage as that is the best way to catch the unimaginable and incomprehensible rewards of Laylatul Qadr. Each and every good deed from Maghrib until Fajr on Laylatul Qadr is rewarded a minimum of over 83 years of worship rewards. Subhanallah that is longer than most of us will live!
3 - Best Dua of the last 10 nights: Recite as much of the Dua for Lailatul Qadr (the Night of Power) as is possible throughout these 10 nights. For this Dua literally wipes out sins rather than just mere forgiveness of sins
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ ، تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allahumma innaka ‘affuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni’ ‘
O Allah You are The One Who forgives greatly, and loves to forgive, so forgive me. [at Tirmidhi]
4 - Give in charity: Give some charity during these 10 nights as any good act like charity during Laylatul Qadr is rewarded like one has done it for over 83 years!
5 - EAT LIGHT: as one is going to stay up until Fajr and the more one eats the harder it will be to stay up and the less productive one will be!
6 - Hydrate well: Keep some water with you at all times. This well help you stay up, feel energised and refreshed and have a clearer mind
7 - Complete all tasks before hand: So that we are free to worship the 10 nights without being disturbed by having to complete worldy tasks. This is in order to spend minimum time on things other than worship.
8 - Show exemplary character: The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Nothing is weightier on the Scale of Deeds than one’s Good manners.” (Al-Bukhari)
So surely we should aim to be the best in character during these blessed nights and then continue to do so the rest of the year. So we must not argue, swear, backbite, slander or gossip. These things are prohibited anyway but how can we display such characteristics during these blessed few nights?
9 - No time wasting: We must make firm intention that during these blessed 10 nights that we will take part in NO idle talk and NOT watch TV, or play Games, or spend time on Social Media. There is 355 days in the year for all that. This is just 10 nights! Utter loss and regret for those of us who waste these blessed 10 nights!!!
10 - Making life changes : Ramadan is not just for one month but it is for the whole year. So we should make the necessary changes that we need to make in order to better ourselves as Muslims and what better time to make such changes than during these blessed 10 nights where we can change our lives for the better forever. So we must internalise these changes and make firm commitment to Allah and it maybe that he will wipe our sins clean like we were a new born baby.
The following is a possible worship routine for the last 10 blessed nights of Ramadan which can be adjusted according to the times in ones own country:
09:30 - 10:00 pm - Open fast with dates and water and Pray Maghrib (Men with congregation and women at home). After that pray the 2 Sunnah and as many Nawafil (Voluntary) prayers in sets of 2 raka'ahs as one can manage.
Bonus: Each Fard prayer during Ramadan is immense reward as it is but during Laylatul Qadr will be rewarded like one prayed it for over 83 years! Such rewards cannot be comprehended.
10:00 - 10:15 pm - Eat light in order to have optimum energy for worship. Avoid heavy and fried foods which will make one lethargic.
Bonus: The lighter the stomach the more worship. The more worship the more reward!
10:15 - 10:30 pm - Get ready and prepared to pray Isha and Tarawee. Make Ghusl or Wudu. Pray 2 Rakat Tahiyyatul Wudu after every Wudu. Wear ones best clothes and put on Attar and use Miswaak and comb hair, beard etc.
Bonus 1: Looking ones best actually has a significant impact in making one more productive! These are the nights of maximum productivity! So look & smell good to be more productive!
Bonus 2: Walk to the Masjid if you are not in I'tikaf. Each and every step is rewarded like you have been walking to the Masjid for over 83 years! Subhanallah!
10:30 pm - 12:00 am - Pray Isha & Taraweeh. Men with congregation and women may also pray in the Masjid in order to hear recitation of Qur'an, if the facilities are available and there is no danger of free mixing. Pray 2 rakat Tahiyyatul Masjid upon arriving at the Masjid and 4 Rakat of Sunnah before the 4 Fard of Isha.
Bonus: Praying Taraweeh during the night of power will bring rewards of over 83 years for each and every letter recited by the Imam and for each and every prostration (Sajda).
12:00 - 12:30 am - As soon as Taraweeh is finished then prepare for worship until Fajr. Make Fresh Wudu or Ghusl if one wants. Drink water to hydrate. If one is hungry then eat (LIGHT).
Either stay at the Masjid or go home immediately not partaking in any idle talk and go straight to the spot where there will be no disturbances and begin worship immediately being firm in remaining free of any disturbances. NO PROCRASTINATION during these blessed 10 nights!
Bonus: The less time we waste the more time we have for worship. The more time we have for worship the more we can gain unimaginable rewards during these blessed 10 nights!
12:30 - 1:30 am - Recite Qur'an with its tafseer (Meanings of the Qur'an) and contemplate and ponder over the words of Allah.
Bonus: In one of these nights was the auspicious night that the Noble Qur'an was revealed. So surely we should spend most of this night reciting the Qur'an. Each and every letter is normally rewarded as 10 good deeds. During Ramadan this is increased further but during Laylatul Qadr each letter will be rewarded like one has recited it for over 83 years. Subanallah!
1:30 - 2:00 am - Salaatul Tasbih. Or continue reciting Qur'an with Tafseer and recite the Laylatul Qadr Dua as much as possible for wiping out sins.
Bonus: Salaatul Tasbih contains a Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) which is one of the best glorifications of Allah:
Subhaanallaahi walhamdu lillaahi walaa ilaaha illallaahu wallaahu Akbar
This is recited 300 times during this prayer. So can you imagine the rewards of reciting this prayer during Laylatul Qadr? Subanallah!
2:00 - 2:45 am - 8 Rakats of Tahajjud prayer with long Sajdas reciting as many Sura'hs as one knows by memory. Before hand reading the meanings of the Surahs that are going to be recited in order to gain Khushu and feel the Surah's being recited in ones heart.
Bonus: The best Nawafil (voluntary) prayer is Tahajjud and it is a prayer in order to get closer to Almighty Allah which can be prayed after Isha until just before Fajr begins. The best recitation of the Qur'an is that done during Tahajjud prayer. So one should recite as much of the Qur'an as one has memorised and in the long prostrations ask and beg of Allah in Arabic for forgiveness and mercy and surely Allah will never turn away his slaves who beg of him during this prayer.
2:45 - 3:00 am - Eat Suhoor slightly earlier so as to spend the last half an hour in Dua as Dua just before Fajr is the best and most accepted Dua and any Dua on Laylatul Qadr is accepted without doubt.
Bonus: Prepare Suhoor in the day and put it away in the fridge as nothing should get in the way of our worship during these blessed nights. Preparing Suhoor before hand leaves us with more time to worship. As I keep saying: The more time we have for worship the more unimaginable and incomprehensible rewards we can gain!
3:00 am until Fajr begins. Devote the last half an hour in Dua. Beg and cry unto Allah, by praising and glorifying him using his beautiful names asking for his mercy, forgiveness and for our parents, families and ourselves. Ask for anything ones heart desires. Include Dua's for the Ummah. Surely Allah will accept each and every sincere Dua during these blessed 10 nights more so more than any night of the year on the Night of power!
Bonus: Make a Dua list and be sure to cover everything you can think of so that your mind does not go blank during making Dua on these blessed nights. So if we have made a Dua list before hand then we can make the best Dua which will cover everything and during these blessed nights Duas are readily accepted and if we catch the Night of power during these 10 nights then our Duas will be accepted without a doubt. Subhanallah!
Repeat this schedule for each and every night of worship during the last 10 nights of Ramadan and know that at least one of the nights we will gain the rewards like we did each and every worship for over 83 years. Subhanalklah that is longer than most of us will live!
May Allah enable us to make the best of these nights and gain the rewards may he enable us to catch the blessed Night of Power and gain the rewards that are promised for it. Ameen

If Ramadan is 29 days then Eid Ul Fitr will be on - Thursday 8th of August. If it is 30 days then Eid ul Fitr will be on Friday the 9th of August Insha'Allah
Therefore tonight marks the beginning of the first of the 10 blessed ten Nights of Ramadan!
Remember: We can gain 83 years of worship reward and forgiveness for an entire lifetime of sins for worshipping on this one special night. So we CANNOT afford to miss out. If we are working on the days after those nights and we can take those days or go work later on that day then we should try to, even if it means we to work go tired on those days, so be it as it is only once a year whre this opportunity comes and we may NEVER get such an opportunity again as we may not be alive next year!
So make the commitment!
So we should all make a firm commitment to devote ourselves in worship on all of the last 10 nights, if not then on the odd numbered nights, if not then at least on as many nights as we can. If we still cannot do that then at least on the 27th night. We should worship Allah with full sincerity, hope for immense reward, forgiveness and mercy from Allah for an entire lifetime of sins.
We should also make a firm commitment to Allah that we will change ourselves for the better for the rest of the year as Ramadan is for life not just for one month.
We must remember that our time is very short and that this may well be our very last Ramadan as it was the last Ramadan for so many who thought they would make it!
So let us grab this opportunity with both hands! If we walk towards Allah then he will run towards us!
