I am liking the Con Dem agenda for change...
A day late this is. Yesterday the Con Dem alliance released a longer 31 page manifesto type thing and generally I am in favour of quite a bit of it.
The civil liberties changes proposed such as scrapping ID cards, cutting back on a few other things, reviewing/repealing parts of the anti terrorism legislation etc are all good (especially since it seems to discriminate against Muslims).
The bad bits are the europe and foriegn affairs bits - pulling out of the world is not a good or wanted thing in my eyes. It is short term stupidity and may have lasting consequences.
I would love some of the civil liberties things to go through early though - before either the coalition collapses or the powers that be change their mind after getting addicted to power.

Android barcode scanner?
I have instlled the barcode scanner app and scanned a bar of snickers, a packet of Tangy Toms and a bottle of lucozade.
No success. It scanned the barcodes successfully, but the products were not recognised. Am I doing it wrong? Do I need to pair it with another app?
Descriptive story of the unknown...
Sitting on the dirty-cream sofa, staring into the world of blissful birds and flying clouds, wishing to capture the sun in a mouthful but knowing that this room does not allow any space for the hint of happiness, only the bitter lies of those without a heart.
Each day, we wonder what the day will hold, what lies will be exposed for the tears to roll down yet again. 4 concrete walls that trap the soul, pretending that the yolk of the egg is still yellow.
One day we were sitting in the company of Allah's Apostle (PBUH) when there appeared...
Umar ibn al-Khattab, a companion of the prophet, said:
"One day we were sitting in the company of Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) when there appeared before us a man dressed in pure white clothes, his hair extraordinarily black. There were no signs of travel on him. None amongst us recognized him. At last he sat with the Apostle (peace be upon him).
He knelt before him placed his palms on his thighs and said: Muhammad, inform me about Islam.
