Hello New members ;)

You —

Salaam

Thought I may aswell start this off as all past members will also need to re-register.

Inshallah we will be a friendly bunch here, but expect many firework displays as we all defend our positions.

EDIT

Just to avoid confusion, I have written some guidelines to choosing a name.

Also a nice way to get to know you people try this personality test here, gives interesting results you may be surprised how accurate it is. What personality type are you?

Hello and welcome Highland.

A little information is customary, e.g. rough-age, likes/dislikes, favourite chocolate.

(The chocolate option is fard and you will be lynched if you don't answer it.)

Well I'm 22ish! I like anything blue and hate anything red.

Fewww good to have that out the way. Now to the main topic..

Well I was so happy they bought back Wispa. See protesting does work! This should be well noted.

But normally I'm a fruit and nut person and love bounty, flake and twirl on the odd occasion. When I'm really hungry and no time for a meal it has to be snickers they got the right calories. I think that should sum it up 🙂

TPOS — Wed, 22 Jul 2009 - 14:42

Saira — Sun, 4 Oct 2009 - 23:12

Salaam to everyone. Am a newbie here.

Name is Saira, from West Mids, age - umm lost count of the years its been nearly 3 deacades on this Earth.

By day I work in training and development and evenings / spare time I enjoy Creative Writing. I'm working on using the arts as a means to promote and raise awareness of Islam and encourage interfaith relations. Am also a booking agent for Poetic Pilgrimage who are a Muslim female hip hop duo who use spoken word and poetry to raies awareness of Islam and also tackle other societal issues. They also hold youth workshops to achieve their goals. This is another way os me achieving my goals too by working with these ladies.

I have seen references to chocolate - I love the stuff and thank Allah for being so Bountiful and generous by creating it - I hope there is an abundance of chocolate in Jannat and that I can attain Jannat inshallah.

I also enjoy reading books and am currently in between 4 books (bad habit - read no more 2 at a time folks)

Hope to get to know you all and chat soon

🙂

Saira — Fri, 9 Oct 2009 - 09:30

Yes it is - working in spare time since I do full time already, inshallah hope to make my hobby into my full time career. What do you do?

You — Fri, 9 Oct 2009 - 14:33

The course is progressing and job-wise it is a matter of wait and see as someone (someone not me to be specific) fiddled with my application to add false references and stuff... and I have corrected them, but I think they ignored my corrections, so even if i get it, I can be marched out of the p/t job at any time.
