do i have to...

Do i have to live in this world where the true "service" sector is no longer? where everything is about money, about gaining money, no matter if it is at the expense of others?

if there nothing i can do to change this?

Do i have to live in this world where they make cars to break down in a few years, where they create models with defects on purpose so you buy the new one? where nothing is done for the sake of it.

Do i have to live in a world where the chasm between "charity" and the rest of the world gets wider and wider.
where charity becomes more and more a standing alone building, that people visit once in a while or not at all if they chose not to.

do i have to live in a world where you get suspicious if someone offers you a ride on a pouring down day?

where thinking about asking a random stranger for 20p is unconceivable?

is there truly nothing i can do about this?

are we really all selfish gits just wanting more for ourselves and always checking if we can get anything out of everything?
Is there really this kind of monster dormant in me that is one day going to awaken when im a "grown up" or something?

is this really the way it goes?
is there no way to change this?

edit: so when we've sold our soul to money, what are we going to sell to?

hahaha Billybob, I is good, just wondering some wonderements.

but there's so many question marks in that blog....

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

The 20p thing reminds me of the other day when I was 10p short...Urgh I had to break my precious note...I HATE breaking notes.

But I totally agree! Lots of wondering wonderments of which we all wonder about.

I was in a shop the other day and the person at the til was 1p short and was taking ages.

I was thinking if I offer it, will it be seen as crass or just something to speed the process up...

(I did offer, but it was declined.)

What is the usual thing to do in situations like this?

That reminds me, a few weeks ago I had only £2 on me and had given £1 to this guy on the street who was saying he's collecting for a new mosque. Then I when into the shop and at the till I realised I was 10p short but the woman at the till let me off! I was pretty happy cuz I really wanted my crisps adn chocolate Blum 3 but yeah I was pretty surprised she let me off cuz they're usually really stingy like that, think it might've had something to do with the charity I gave Biggrin
