Feature: Private Messages

Salaam
I thought it is a good idea to toot my own horn. So lets talk Private messages. This should be massively better than what we had before. New features:
* Search usernames as you type - matching usernames will show in the "to:" box.
* Send to multiple members.
* Unlimited messages.
* You may even have access to some messages thought lost long ago!
* Threading. This should make conversations easier to follow.
* Block - You an now block users from sending you messages! Ideal when trying to ignore the existence of another member.
* contacts list - a list of members you have previously sent messages to.
* Recycle bin - A safety step before deletion.

lol, Im just finding it difficult to realize which thread has new posts and which doesnt... if only they were highlighted before.
Plus theres no 'Quote' button to quote that persons post. Not to mention you cant delete your own posts.
but im sure it will come in due time.
If you have it, you don't need to have anything else. If you don't have it, it doesn't matter much what else you have.

If you mean "topics with new posts", I think I better colour that star in orange... to make it stand out.
As for posts themselves, I will see what I can do.
A quote button in on the ToDo list.
As for delete... I am in two minds about that. Should I allow it or not?

i was liking the look of the new forum, but where are the smilies? quote button? cant see which posts are new.....dont like the last post so many days ago.....as long as ur working on things i wont complain!

someone sent me a private message. I tried replying but it said i wasnt authorised/did not hav r access blah blah. I then clicked on tht persons profile..............when it ried sending a pm it said the same thing.
Whats the crack?

Can you try again? It may have been a problem with the upgrade I was trying to do.
EDIT - yeah, it is broken atm.
