ALL EYES ON PAKISTAN

Salaam

So all blame seems to be put on Pakistan after the killing of Ladin.

If we accept Bin Ladin is dead and its no conspiracy then we have to ask the following questions:

How can Ladin live in pakistan for 5 or so years without being noticed?

Was Pakistan army/secret service protecting him? If so , why?

Will Paksitan be used as the scapegoat?

Will Pakistan now be referred to as a safe-haven for terrorists?

How will all this affect Pakistan?

Shopuld Pakistan cut all ties with the U.S?

That wouldn't be very easy to do would it especially with the government sucking up to them and being all corrupt themselves. They're not going to make the right decisions for the country and won't handle this very well.

President Asif Ali Zardari admitted Bin Laden "was not anywhere we had anticipated he would be".

But he denied the killing suggested Pakistan was failing in its efforts to tackle terrorism.

Mr Zardari said Pakistan had "never been and never will be the hotbed of fanaticism that is often described by the media".

"Such baseless speculation may make exciting cable news, but it doesn't reflect fact," he said.

"Pakistan had as much reason to despise al-Qaeda as any nation. The war on terrorism is as much Pakistan's war as it is America's."

More drones?

or less drones.

they stick up a "Mission Accomplished" poster/sticker/blue peter badge and get the hell out of there. They can even reuse the same one they used on that aircraft carrier back in 2003.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

They seemed to have gone for the 'it's so unbelievable so it must be true' vote. All eyes hAve always been on Pakistan since it's formation for various reasons, nothing changes - the landlords live it up whilst the puplic starve and sectarian violence carries on. As for relationship with America it's always been a case of can't live with them can't live without them, it's not choice but a way of life

There's an article on the guardian on how Obama (dubbed Obomber by some Blum 3 ) "has ratcheted up the pressure on Pakistan, demanding that the Pakistani government investigate whether its own people were involved in a network to support Osama bin Laden in his Abbottabad hideout". And I was surprised to read comments (mainly by non-Pakistanis/Muslim) that were actually disgusted at Obama and didn't believe that Pk did that but it is just Obama trying to gain more control and take over resources and start another war.
