Strangers.

TPOS โ€”

so Person 1 says:

  • You can't be friends with people you've never met...cuz they're strangers.
  • You can't trust strangers
  • However strangers can care about you

Person 2 says:

  • If you care about strangers then they are not strangers.

Person 3 agrees with person 1 on the last point.

What do u think? Who do you agree with?

What's your definition of a stranger?

What's your definition of a friend?

Do you care about people you've met online or something?

Can you be friends with people you've met online?

before using this site didnt really think i could have 'online friends' but now i kinda think differently, and u can care for strangers i mean i care for people i know online but may never have met before so then goes the question what really is a stranger..hmmm

a friend is someone u can share feelings with, care for, discuss problems with share happy times and experiences with and even family members can also be friends not just people outside the family................ plus friends get u gifts on your birthday ๐Ÿ˜‰ lool

Strangers are weird people who ask you to get into their cars and want to hold your hand. I remember in year 3, this policewoman coming in and showing us what strangers can do.

People can get attached to a toaster, to characters in works of fiction or even historical figures long gone. I don't see why the same cannot happen to real people who are online.

Question is will the people be the same as they are offline? Could your friendship carry over into the real world?

I doubt it and I also think it may be inadvisable to even try.

so ur scared of meeting me? ๐Ÿ˜›

See thats the thing, i mean i know i shouldnt trust you and that you may not be the same offline as you are online however i feel i "know" you well enough to know what to expect from you so i feel you're not a complete stranger.

and thats why i dont see how takin sweets from a random person off the street is different to meeting with one of you guys.

I don't know what to call those people that i regularly talk to online, tbh. :/

i mean i feel they're always gna be strangers until you've met them and actually get to know them

But then some of them i know "quite well" and i feel "close" to them.

so friends, strangers or in between? what would be in between.

Actualy no not in between cuz those are people u sometimes tlak to and don't know that well

:/ :S
