What's your typing speed?

http://www.learn2type.com/TypingTests/TypingTest63.html

I got 44, in another I got 42. Yesterday at a pre-job thing test I got 24.4 cos the keyboard was stiff Sad

Not my best ever, I got 49 (51 adjusted for two typos) on the first try and 53 on the second. I like those tests though, I'm always better than they expect me to be.

Good thread lol.

First one was 39 adjusted 35.

Now it was 45!

I think it depends on which exercise u get. All the capital letters in weird places make it tricky tho!

The media, government, tried to blow us, but they can't out the flame, or doubt the name.

39 adjusted to 33.

People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

I got 41 n its my 1st one!!!

I thought i could cheat by copying and pasting it but it came back with

42 adjusted to 33 Sad

but I was having a conversation with my work colleague about typing at the same time, so I'm going to guess my normal would be close to 70-80 WPM.

It can still be tricked if you copy and paste half the paragraph and type the rest. 120 wpm. Smile

If you're inclined to do that, may as well skip the test and just make up a number for our entertainment.

It used to be possible to do that in recruitment tests but the software's cleverer now, it even knows if you delete mistakes and mentions them in the report.

Your speed was 43 WPM with 3 mistakes (adjusted speed 39 WPM)

Is that Good? Confused

I think most of the secretaries at my workplace type between 70-80 WPM.

But they sit for 8 hours a day with someone's voice droning on and on at them in their headphones and just type what they hear, so I guess they have quite a bit of practice.

Given how you normally type it's quite impressive.

True, it can get tedious.

Same here.

Nice pic Smurfy, but is that a caterpillar crawling on your hand? Yuck!

I always got a bit freaked out about Smurfette.

She was the only female ina whole village of males.

Plus, the only reason that they are blue is because the guy who illustrated them didn't have any other colouring pencils with him at the time.

I heard an in-depth and hard-hitting interview with his son on the Russel Brand podcast.

You do realise the guy who created the smurfs was a communist defector?

Smurfette may have been the only girl in the village. All the other guys were gay.

How many of you can actually type without looking at the keyboard?

I find very few people can do this (atleast people our age... and younger).
