Not my best ever, I got 49 (51 adjusted for two typos) on the first try and 53 on the second. I like those tests though, I'm always better than they expect me to be.

I thought i could cheat by copying and pasting it but it came back with
'copy and paste does not help your typing skills'
It can still be tricked if you copy and paste half the paragraph and type the rest. 120 wpm.
If you're inclined to do that, may as well skip the test and just make up a number for our entertainment.
It used to be possible to do that in recruitment tests but the software's cleverer now, it even knows if you delete mistakes and mentions them in the report.

I think most of the secretaries at my workplace type between 70-80 WPM.
But they sit for 8 hours a day with someone's voice droning on and on at them in their headphones and just type what they hear, so I guess they have quite a bit of practice.

She was the only female ina whole village of males.
Plus, the only reason that they are blue is because the guy who illustrated them didn't have any other colouring pencils with him at the time.
I heard an in-depth and hard-hitting interview with his son on the Russel Brand podcast.

Good thread lol.
First one was 39 adjusted 35.
Now it was 45!
I think it depends on which exercise u get. All the capital letters in weird places make it tricky tho!

but I was having a conversation with my work colleague about typing at the same time, so I'm going to guess my normal would be close to 70-80 WPM.
