And they feed, for the love of God, the indigent, the
orphan, and the captive, (saying), 'We feed you for
the sake of God Alone. No rewards do we desire from
you, nor thanks. …"[Qur'an 76:8-12]

In this blessed month Muslims look forward to breaking
our fast at the end of each day. But what of all those
who cannot break their fast. What of those who have no
food, no shelter, no family, no homes?

There will be a short programme on the essence of Ramadhan,
Tarawih prayers led by Sheikh Ahmed Khairullah with explanation,
and a collection for the victims of the Earthquake in Kashmir

Everyone is welcome… regardless of faith, age or gender
so if you are fasting already, why not bring your
neighbours along with you? or alternatively, if you have
never participated in the special Ramadhan fasting and prayers
this is your chance! Why not try fasting for a day and donate
the money you would normally spend on your lunch to the appeal?

Admin - Coventry City Circle

- Coventry City Circle is a community-based initiative
that has recently started. We intend to hold Islamic lectures
on a monthly basis, and also organize with a wide range of
regular events and activities, including short courses,
seminars, workshops on issues relevant to the Muslim
community in Coventry, social gatherings like Eid parties,
matrimonial services and events and much more.
