I would just like to start by saying we all know you are trying to do a good job in the way of Allah by writing a magazine for the Muslim youth but have you ever really thought about the topics you are writing about?!? Banging on about the youth of this time and pointing out how misguided they are and writing about what you think people get up to these days in not going to want to make youngsters embrace our religion. Finally the month of starvation is over, now we can don our expensive designer gear and head down to Rusholme in our pimped-out rides, waving our national flag, blasting the latest tracks and see what we can pull! Might just get a little mashed or have a few shots…and you have to have some weed man- chill out its Eid…you have to have some weed dude…all in the name of celebrating and having fun!
WOOAAH… just hold on a sec there mate! Isn’t this the day we’re supposed to have fun BUT also praise and thank Allah (swt) for the blessings bestowed upon us; as well as an opportunity to unite with the whole Ummah and join in together in enjoyment? C’mon people…what are we doing! (more…)

The main theme was ‘Eid not Weed’, as Eidul Fitr was fast approaching.

Issue 4 of The Revival Magazine is coming soon
It turned out to be a very busy day for Zahid Maqbool, Sub Editor of ‘The Revival Magazine’. Zahid gave many interviews to UK News media outlets including BBC (Radio 5 Live, Radio 4, News24), Sky News, 5 News, Channel 4, the Guardian amongst others.
He shared his views which are shared by many young Muslims and expressed his fears about the government strategy against terrorism. (more…)
