Jermaine Jackson said on Monday he wants his brother Michael to convert to Islam; and he believes the reclusive superstar has given it serious thought.
“Michael, I feel, needs to become a Muslim because I think it’s a great protection for him from all the things that he’s been attacked with, which are false,” said the former Jackson Five singer who now lives in Bahrain.
“There’s a strength and protection there,” Jackson told BBC Asian Newtwork after finishing runner-up to Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty in the “Celebrity Big Brother” TV reality show that was marred by accusations of racist bullying.
Jackson said he believed his brother had given conversion “serious thought” during long spells in Bahrain.
“I was the reason why he had gone there because I wanted him to get out of America and just go somewhere it’s peaceful and quiet and people pray five times a day which is beautiful.”
Michael Jackson was acquitted of child molestation charges in June 2005.He has said he plans to move to Europe in a bid to resurrect his musical career as the “King of Pop” and has indicated he will release a new album in 2007.
Jermaine Jackson said his faith helped keep him sane in the enclosed confines of the British reality TV program where the contestants are kept cooped up under 24-hour surveillance.
“If I didn’t have Allah and my prayer rug, I would not have survived and the reason why is because it kept me focused, it kept me calm,” he said.

It would be hugely appriciated by all muslims all over the world and brings him close the Allah and his family and ture friends.

I like to hear people converting to islam because it makes our religion bigger and stronger. Allah showers his noor (light) to the people who already are, or going to be muslims. The ones that are showerd with allahs light are very lucky and are blessed by allah. The ones that are showerd by allahs light will never convert to another religion because allah is holding him tight and close to him. Michael could be one of them because he might not be a muslim now but he might be in the future. I wish he would become a muslim

April 25th, 2007 at 11:50 amI am not a Muslim and I thank God for been a Christian. Christianity have a religion of love and peace, a love that demands a personal sacrifice of Jesus and in the end, he said” Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing..”
What I would like to say this religion shows a true sincere love from the begiining,different from Islam. In the beginning, Prophet Mohammed killed lots of non-muslims,especially Christiand and Jews, from Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Palestine and so on..If I am not wrong, the Church at Middle East was the second biggest after the Chruch at Rome.And right now, they are still burning, murdering, persecuting Christians and people from all other religions in all these places, in which we don’t see the Christian America, Britain esp. prior to Sept 11, doing these.
My burning question is why should a religion from God needed to be fought by people?After all, God needs ppl ar ppl needs God?And can’t this Allah and his angels fought themselves, since whether they or the people fought still killed lives.Of course, the most common response was because the Prophet lived at a time of warring period…
but didn’t Jesus also had Jews at one side and the Roman pagans on another side against him but yet Jesus harshly rebuked his disciple, Peter when he drew the first sword and slashed off the ear of Roman soldier just before Jesus was finally led to the crucification. Jesus then healed back the soldier’s ear and said “those who win by the sword shall die by the sword!!”This is the first and only assault case in the days of Jesus of 3 years or ministry.
After much research on Islam,I am therefore not surprised that Islam was an ancient religion of violence and has been evolved into modern day of terrorism. I prayerfully and boldly asked Muslims to really deeply evaluate their religion.Truth may hurts but it is spoken from my deep burning sincerity.
