So Dark the Con of Man...
James Cameron has unveiled what he believes may be Jesus's coffin, calling it possibly the first physical evidence of Christ's life of earth.

The plain limestone box, or "ossuary", was one of 10 discovered in a cave tomb stumbled on by builders in Jerusalem in 1980, and first excavated by a British archaeologist.

The disintegrated bones found in the coffins were reburied, but human matter collected by filmmakers has provided DNA profiles, which they say suggest Jesus and Mary Magdalene were a couple.

Mobile Phone Vs The Quran
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Quran like we treat our cell phones? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it as we traveled? What if we used it in case of an emergency?

This is something to make you go ...hmm...where is my Quran? Oh, and one more thing.

A World Without the Truth

What is truth?

It is often assumed that truth is mind-independent. That, if the world is a certain way, then it is true that it is that way, independent of anyone thinking that it is that way (so the tree falling in the wood always makes a sound).

Perhaps those who make this assumption shouldn't.

The assumption that the mind-independent features of the world [i.e. ‘just the facts’] determine the truth of propositions, does not entail that truth is independent of minds.

Insanity

Insanity is described by English law as 'a defect of reason caused by a disease of the mind which meant that either:
(i) he did not know the nature or quality of his actions or
(ii) he did not know that what he was doing was wrong.'

Or more commonly known as loosing it, loosing ones marbels, going loco, going nutts, the lights are on but no-ones home.

But back in the day, copernicus was thought a senseless, and a fool. He had the idea that the universe didnt revolve around the earth, but rather the earth revolved around the sun.

What is "Honour"?

I asked, "Can a man who lies, cheats, steals and sometimes does violence to other people be a man of honor?"

I was told, "He can if he lies to liars, cheats cheaters, steals from thieves and limits his violence to those who are violent."

Do you agree, forum?

What does Honour mean to you?

Forgiving ones Enemies

This was a joke a friend of mine sent but is applicable here:
Toward the end of the church service, the Minister asked, "How many of you have forgiven your enemies?"

80% held up their hands. The Minister then repeated his question.

All responded this time, except one small elderly lady.

"Mrs. Jones? Are you not willing to forgive your enemies?"

"I don't have any." She replied, smiling sweetly.

"Mrs. Jones, that is very unusual. How old are you?"

"Ninety-eight." she replied.

"Oh, Mrs.

Doomsday Clock:the end is near

Quote:
Climate change and nuclear proliferation have moved the world closer to apocalypse, Professor Stephen Hawking and his colleagues have warned.

At the same time, the hand of a Doomsday Clock has moved two minutes closer to midnight.

The clock, devised at the dawn of the nuclear age, has made official what many now feel in their bones — that mankind is heading for catastrophe.

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, which created the Doomsday Clock in 1947 to warn the world of the dangers of nuclear weapons, advanced the clock to five minutes to midnight.

2007: Moving On

2007: Moving on after the veil row
By Dominic Casciani
BBC News community affairs

If headlines and comment in the British media are anything to go by, then 2006 was a bad year to be a Muslim in the UK.

A raging debate over multiculturalism spread nationwide as Britain tried to make sense of the threat from terrorism - and found that those anxieties opened up a pandora's box of other questions.

Those at the sharp end of this angst were Britain's Muslims. So a year that started badly with the global row over cartoons of the prophet Mohammed in a Danish newspaper, ended on an equally downbeat public note with a British row over the Islamic veil.

As the New Year dawns, the question is where are we now heading?

The Noble Angels Of Allah(swt)
Angels

These are beings of a different nature from man. While man was created from soil they are created from light. And thus human beings-except Prophets--cannot see them in their original nature, but may see them if they take a physical form. Our knowledge of them is therefore almost entirely based on What God and his Prophets tell us about them.

But why should we bother to know about them?

Because they play a very big role in conducting our affair.

Saddam Hussein's Great Escape!!
Strong reports coming out of Iraq today claiming Saddam Hussein has escaped from jail mere days after his death sentencing. It is believed that during a routine guard change the former dictator made his move and escaped his cell it is believed he may have had outside help.

Other reports state that the current Iraqi government installed by US forces seem to be in a mass exodus from the country with their families and all the loot they can carry. The atmosphere seems one of unorganized panic.
