Getting followed

[color=magenta]But I was wondering do any of you brothers and sisters have any tips/advice as to do when you are getting followed?[/color]

[color=magenta]Basically, today i was followed by this idiotic man, and i felt so powerless as to what to do, i start walking slowly, he does the same, waiting to fall back in step with me, i start walking fast, he does the same, i walk into a shop he waits outside for 10 minutes.[/color]

Death penalty for Saddam Hussein

[color=green][b]Saddam Hussein has been convicted of crimes against humanity and sentenced to death by hanging.[/b]

The former Iraqi president was convicted by a Baghdad court for his role in the killing of 148 people in the mainly Shia town of Dujail in 1982.

His half brother Barzan al-Tikriti was also sentenced to death, as was Iraq's former chief judge Awad Hamed al-Bandar

Former Vice-President Taha Yassin Ramadan got life in jail and three others received 15 year prison terms.

Another co-defendant, Baath party official Mohammed Azawi Ali, was acquitted.

Next week (16th-21st October) will be CHARITY WEEK FOR ORPHANS inshaAllah where all the universities in London take part in a competition to see who can raise the most money for Islamic relief. Our sixth form is the only sixth form taking part and we will be competing against all the London universities. Last year we came 2nd and the year before we came 3rd we will be aiming for number 1 this year inshaAllah.

yesterday i was reading a hadith on the woman who went to hell cuz she treated her cat badly, this made me remember some of the story books i used to read when i was younger.

I loved those stories it is amazing how much you remember about wht you did when you wre young.so i decided to read them again

il go first mine is Khadjah the first wife of the Prophet PBUH, why because firstly she was there with the prophet PBUH from day 1 after the revelation from Angel Jibraeel she believed him,while ppl we mocking him she was there,overall i fink she is everythng a muslimah shud be a great mother,wife and a damn good business woman too

despite recent tensions on the forum, i just want to say a massive jazakAllah to everyone on tihs forum, its been like 6 months or so when i first registered thanks to bro Yuit, and from day 1 everyone made me feel welcome,

although there are differences of opinions on certain issues i reckon this is the best thng abt this forum, because different views are able to be displayed and admin n the moderators dont delete or change some posts unlike some other forums.

Zarqawi killed in Iraq air raid

[color=darkblue][b]Militant leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has been killed, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki has announced.[/b]

"We have eliminated Zarqawi," Mr Maliki said at a news conference in Baghdad, sparking sustained applause.Zarqawi was considered the figurehead of the Sunni insurgency. He was leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, blamed for killing thousands of Shias and US forces.The US said he was killed in an air strike "approximately 8km (five miles) north of Baquba". The head of US-led forces in Iraq, General George Casey, said the strike against an "isolated safe house" took place at 1815 (1415 GMT) on Wednesday."Iraqi police were first on the scene after the air strike," he said, followed shortly afterwards by coalition forces.

Man shot in anti-terrorism raid

[color=indigo][b]A 23-year-old man has been shot by police during a house raid involving 250 officers carried out early on Friday under the Terrorism Act.[/b]

The man, who was later arrested, was taken to a nearby hospital after the search in Forest Gate, east London. His injuries are not life-threatening.A 20-year-old man is also being held at a central London police station.A single shot was fired, according to the Independent Police Complaints Commission which will investigate. The operation was not linked to the London bombings of July 2005, police have said.
