GREAT Britain for Muslims... or is it?

Salaam

I'm sure this has been discussed before somewhere but can't seem to find it....anyway.....

Just want some points from ppl on:

Benefits of living in uk especially as a Muslim as my editorial is on this?

What are the negatives/downsides to living in uk esp as a muslims?

what are your personal 'good' and 'bad' points?

do you agree that Britain is the best place to live as a Muslim?

Would you agree you get more rights in UK than in any Muslim country?

Look forward to your views

Does God have a role in the world today?

Does God have a role in the world today?

God will not intervene to prevent humanity from wreaking disastrous damage to the environment, the Archbishop of Canterbury has warned. What's your reaction to this?

Dr Rowan Williams has urged a "radical change of heart" to prevent runaway climate change. At York Minster he said humanity should turn away from the selfishness and greed that leads it to ignore its interdependence with the natural world.

He said just as God gave humans free will to do "immeasurable damage" to themselves as individuals it seemed "clear" they had the same "terrible freedom" as a human race. He also warned that God would not guarantee a "happy ending".

Rubicon drinks-haram?

the latest text doing the rounds is that rubicon drinks are haram coz it contains alcohol- o.o5%

i went on their site and found this:

Are Rubicon Exotic Juice Drinks suitable for Halal consumption?

Questions about soft drinks containing ethyl alcohol have been raised a number of times by concerned Muslims over the past few years. In these cases the Muslim Law (Shariah) Council in the UK have confirmed that the composition and procedure involved in the production of these soft drinks is in compliance with the rules of Shariah and therefore Halal for Muslims to consume.
