ear is one of the five orefaces through which if something enters the body cavity, it invalidates ur fast. if the ear drops amount to so much that it reaches the inner ear, it breaks ur fast. this is the view i was taught. there's a difference of opinion about it.. some scholars agree that it doesn't break ur fast but better not to put it in the ear while fasting to be on the safe side. others agree that it invalidates ur fast. kohl/eyeliner/eyedrops etc anything related to the eye doesn't break ur fast because eye in not one of the five openings.
