The Killing$ of Tony Blair is now on Netflix

Poster: The Killing$ of Tony Blair

Go watch it.

If you have netflix it ont cost you a penny and you will be supporting an independent documentary.

For those of you paying attention at the time, not much of what happened will come as a surprise (though the money Tony Blair Inc has made since leaving office might be a surprise to some), but there are many younger viewers who may not have as clear a recollection or awareness of events that happened at the time.

PS everyone at the time knew that the intel was a farce. No one believed it. If anyone says they thought otherwise, they are lying.

America is not leaving Iraq with its dignity intact.

America is officially ended its "war operations" in Iraq with a .

They make it look so dignified, as if a lot of what they did there can be whitewashed and ignored.

Unforetunately we cant do anything about what has happened but we can remember.
has reminded me about Fallujah and what happened there.

A woman stabbed Labour MP Stephen Timms twice at a constituency surgery in revenge for his vote for the Iraq war, the Old Bailey has heard.

Support our troops? Not when they do this!

The MoD is furious that wikileaks has released many documents about the Iraq War.

They are furious as incidents like this one where a as she played in the street have a very slight chance of becoming public knowledge:

...Lawyer Phil Shiner said the murder happened while soldiers were handing out sweets to children.

He said: "The tank stopped at the end of the street, she's there in her yellow dress, a rifleman pops up and blows her away."...

So, to those that say "you should support our troops", I ask, do they support murder?

How can the Iraq War be considered anything other than a complete success for the US?

When listening to the Let's Talk show on the , the guest on the show mentioned how the US was leaving Iraq in defeat and other Muslims seems to be of the same view too...

but is that not foolish to think the US is leaving in failure and instead never got exactly what it went?

Firstly its not a withdrawal (as there are still 50,000 troops there and some permanent bases have been built...) and secondlt, I would question wether it really is defeat too.

To assume that it is losing in failure, you have to assume or accept that America is not getting exactly what it wanted in Iraq - a state of general chaos.

ex-MI5 chief (finally?) admits that the Iraq war increased terrorism threat to UK

Probably shouldbe from the department of the obvious, but this is also I think the first time anyone involved with government or policy anywhere in the UK has stated it so big news.

I doubt we will be able to get Blair to hang for this - we could do with a good lynching, but he is way too slippery to get caught out by things like facts and the truth.

How Goldsmith changed advice on legality of war

For seven years, Britain has wanted to see how the legal case for invading Iraq was made. Yesterday, at a public inquiry that is going on unnoticed, official documents were released for the first time that showed the grave reservations of the Attorney General, his remarkable U-turn, and how the basis for the Iraq war was built on sand
