Role of the prophet in Sufism

Tell me everything you know.
I'm begging you

please

when you go that far back, sufism is abad word to look at.

I think the two words that would be more fruitful are zuhd and ihsan.

There are ahadith about both and this is the physical aspect of sufism which is used for the spiritual aspect, which is getting closer to God.

Ihsan as in Iman and Ihsan? Whats Zuhd?

Don't make this even more complicated than it needs to be, the essay title says sufism, so we're going with that!

Noor: Do you have any books/articles/journals related to this topic for R?

The sufi books say holy Prophet was the first sufi in Islam.
spirituality all started with him.
after the Prophet, was his successor Imam Ali.
all true mystic teachers have links that go back to Ali.

sufis use hadith (sayings of Prophet), and also
verses from Holy Quran, thebook of God, to teach and train new comers.

when a sufi becomes enlightened,
he is in FANA (lost in God). He has merged with God.
Prophet once said, when you travel to God, eventually you join Him.
At that moment, God becomes your eyes, ears, feet, hands etc.
You are one with God. He loves you and you love Him.

Achieving Fana is the goal of Sufis. Union with God.

Ayatollah rightly named America as "Great Satan".

This is great stuff.
Is there any way I can link Fana to the Prophet PBUH?

If Sufis are friends of Allah then our Prophet(PBUH ) who is Allah's best friend is the greatest Sufi of all.

Read The Kashf Al-Mahjub by Ali B. Uthman AL-Jullabi AL Hujwiri, the oldest Persian treatise on Sufism

My English is not very good

'even though I don't think it's very Islamic '

Can you clarify ths statement please

Allah is the creator, Prophet Muammed SAW is the created one nothing else is between these two or comes before them not the qibla, Kaaba or arsh or angels or anything or anyone - that is my belief and the belief of millions of Muslims And that is why the kalma is what it is

Qur'an says that humans are created in the best form.

So that isnt wrong to say that about the ka'bah, but the correct truth.

I don't get that?

What if a person is born without an arm or a leg would that be counted as best form?

Specific deformities cannot be discounted from the overall general form.
