Why.... what have you done?

Wow... is it that time of the year again, where we start telling ghost stories.

Like people, there are also crazy and evil Jinns and as such will be out to cause harm

Walking through life unnoticed
Knowing that no one cares
Too consumed in their masquerade
No one sees me there
And still I'll sings
Till everything burns.

I have got some BIG STYLE jinn stories!

Behold...Me!

Theyr not ghost stories. Jinns do exist and can harm ppl if you peev them off. I have never encountered a Jinn experience but if i did i will probably be freaked out for life.

Why do people say '1 jinn' and 'many jinns'? 'jinn' is already the plural of jinni (genie).

i was gonna say dat and besides the letter 's' doesnt make summit plural in the arabic language

'A book holds a house of gold'

Most of them probably false.

Jinn are used as a bogeyman to scare kids. Unfortunately, most kids grow up and still believe the stories wholesale. I guess the next generation will also believe in Santa Claus.

Others use them as "excuses" for bad behaviour or mental illness.

I have not seen any evidence that a Jinn can harm a human, nor do I think they can "Possess" others as that would seem to go against the basic free will that Allah (swt) has granted to humans.

Actually they're real, we called a rukia man in and he said this is classic jinn behaviour

^^ thats my excuse too (its all human psychology)... to be bloody honest... i've done no research on this topic and don't know for sure whether i believe in it... it may be due to the fact that people have misused and manipulated the issue to an extent that the scars are tooooo deep to disappear... all i know is that they exist... and thats it... and i don't believe that they actually interfere in your life... like You explained its against the human freewill... otherwise we've got two angels on our shoulders, do you hear them whisper in your ears?

There is scholastic disagreement as to whether Jinn posession (of humans) is possible. (I like to keep my options open on this one personally Surprised )

On the other hand, we humans have the ability to gain control of jinn - Ive learnt of a method (as explained from a very respected scholar, so authentic!) (not that I will ever use it!) Doubt Shock

May Allah shine sweet faith upon you this day and times beyond. May your heart be enriched with peace, and may your home be blessed always. Ameen.

How can there be a disagreement between scholars on this subject?

Either there have been documented, verifiable cases of it happening or there are not.

Like I said, scholastic disagreement - i.e. based on evidences from Qur'an and sunnah. Documented cases and whatsnot are a secondary (and of course evidentially supportive) matter.

Unlike angels, humans and Jinns have free will. So theoretically one can interfere in the lives of the other.

one incident that happened a long time ago,
My elder brother got up in the middle of the night to visit the loo and on his way back to his room, he saw a tall white jinn praying in his room, obviously he was freaked coz i mean cmon, hes just seen a jinn, or probably back then he must of thought it a ghost!

Behold...Me!

But if a Jinn can take the form of a tree or car whats to say they cant possess humans?
Yes if a Jinn does harm/possess a human it does go against the freewill that Allah(swt) has given mankind BUT the Jinns are being tested too so if they do abuse the powers Allah(swt) has given them then clearly they will be punished for it.

Mankind does not have complete freewill anyway, some aspects of our lives are determined. Ie by making dua for something and then Allah(swt) granting it us.

Who said a jinni can take the for of a car or a tree? I think you mean Transformers.

What if you driving you car down the motorway and then it suddenly changes into a tree? you'd be killed!

Anyway, about the du'aa....We choose what we make du'aa for. If we ask Allah (swt) to make us patient/kind, then that is OUR choice. We could easily choose to make du'aa that Allah (swt) changes our Horse Chestnut into an Aston Martin.

does dat mean jinns and humans have to live side by side peacefully? can they be confused as being outerspace creatures?

Laughing

I cant remember exactly where ( i have this habit of reading but not jotting down what i read and my memory is not as good as it use to be) but i did come across these:

Jinn

Jinn

If Jinns cant harm you then why are Muslims suppose to read Aa€™oodhu Billaahi min al-khubthi waal-khabaaa€™ith when entering the bathroom? Its because they can harm humans hence why were told to read it.

Jinna do have more powers then mankind so whats to say they cant turn into a tree or car. The bad Jinns obviously have too much time on their hands so they torment humans. If i wasnt visible to mankind i would be very tempted to scare some puny human being muhahaha

Yaqab - whistling away
Naz - rustles
Yaqub - whose there?
Naz - continues to rustle
Yaqub - (Picks up pen as if its a sword) I know your there. Come out.

I don't think you'll be laughing when I attack you with my pen. You've seen Demolition Man, right?

Well i was trying to imagine what i would do if i was a Jinn. Ive come to the conclusion i just wouldnt be a very scary Jinn. Id probably get bullied by other Jinns for being so pathetic like Lenny (a vegi shark)did in shark tale because he wouldnt eat the fish.

If you cant see me then your stabbing into the air lol. Demolition Man.....hmmmm sounds familiar.

So if i hold your hand and make you hit yourself doesnt that go against free will.

Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet; O People who Believe! Send blessings and abundant salutations upon him. Al ahzab [33,56]

That is different from being "possessed" which I suggest may be total codswallop.

why is it different? havent i tooken control of a certain part of your body?

Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet; O People who Believe! Send blessings and abundant salutations upon him. Al ahzab [33,56]

which can fight (which would be the act of free will)? where there is a physical act of restraint?

oh, I forgot to mention, you would not be able to do that in the first place Razz
