Writers/ Journalists
Believe it or not, both the magazine and the website require written content. Who'da thought of that? Got a nice witty writing style? Can explain difficult subjects in simple terms? Got a passion for writing? Have you done a journalism course and just want a few articles under your belt?
Sales
5* Regional Sales Managers (across the UK)- £40K+ OTE per annum
Have you got sales in your veins. If you have a track record in sales (ideally in media sales) and you're ready to improve it, we're willing to put a fantastic proposition to you!
Marketing
1* Print and 1* Online marketing internship and general marketing work experience.
Great for your CV if you have completed or are studying for a marketing degree. We will guarantee some fantastic hands on experience and transferable skills. Who knows you may want to stay on..... forever!
Event Management
1* Event Organiser/ Planner - £20K per annum
Do you have good organisation skills and experience of managing events? Why not share some of your ideas with us and you could be joining in the fun and games that we are planning.
Graphic Design
1* Full or Part Time position (£15K per annum Pro rata) - 2* Internships
Got a flare for design? Are you overflowing with creativity? Well it's time to roll up your sleeves and accept the challenge! We'll take you on if we think you've got something or help you develop a great portfolio and improve your job prospects. Good expeience of Photoshop and Illustrator is required for the paid positions. Adobe Indesign and Flash experience would be an advantage. Don't worry if you don't have solid experience with these packages as long as you are committed and show creativity we will provide full training and ongoing development.
Web Design
1* Full Time position £15K per annum- 2* Internships
Are you a web whizz kid? have you got the skills to create and develop a unique website for The Revival? If you have well developed skills in HTML, CSS, javascript, C++, PHP, ASP.NET and mySQL and you know your way around Flash (action script) and Content Management packages or you'll like to develop these skills to high standard in real live projects then this is your chance.

I am a sales manager who has been working in sales for the over 12 years and more specifically media sales for the past 7. I am really interested in applying for the above stated position especially since it is for such a good cause, yet I am wondering how a charity based organisation can get the funds to pays 40k a year?? Especially if it recruits 5 managers... thats 200k a year? Dont get me wrong, i know its not all about the money and the reward you will IA get is worth a million times more... yet i do have a family to support and mortgage to pay so was wondering if this pay is feasible and legitimate?

I'll distribute magazines in Newcastle city center- the left over, I can tell my brothers to put them in mosques or I can put it in my university mosque (I hope to get in the Uni, but the mosque I can get in XD) as well. Also, I'll see if my sister and my friends will be okay with distributing too so we can cover the city centre. I got the magazine on Sunday 13th July 2008 and I've read it and I really learned a lot of things from it, highlighted certain things I don't think about or things I thought I knew but shown in a different perspective. Thank you to Yaqub Bell for the magazine.
