Myanmar Cyclone

Assalam alaikum,

Cyclone Nargis which hit Myanmar (Burma) on Saturday May 3 2008 was quickly labelled the worst storm to hit Asia in 25 years. To date thousands of people are confirmed dead and many more are missing.

Thousands have been left homeless and are in urgent need of shelter, food and water.

i heard on the news that Myanmar (Burma) is a very secretive place and the first pics to be released of the disaster aftermath by its on news crew... no foreign media was allowed to say anything from inside Burma!!...

Well they have accepted international aid and all aids r doin their best to reach the ppl!!

It's been covered pretty thoroughly in all those papers. Incidentally none of these are to do with the BBC and only The Sun and The Times are related to Sky. The Daily Mail, The Express and The Telegraph are unrelated to one another.

The myanmar government are sadists who at times of disaster wont even allow help to reach the civilians. I think the american liberation is required ... ( i say that with a hint of irony ..
