Last time I did one of these - just a few weeks ago - I was very lefty left, which is OK but I found the test simple. This is a better test.
So this time I'm very slighty right and a fairly strong libertarian:
Economic Left/Right: 0.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.13
I took this a few years ago and I was Ghandi. This time I'm not like anyone on the chart.

I took the test. Was quite long. This is what it came up with.

So economically you're quite lefty - an idealist perhaps, or maybe just fairer than most - and socially you're quite strict and demanding. According to that website. But neither of those scores is really hardcore, you're kind of centrist.

Pretty much exactly the same as Ghandi by their estimation!

Gentleness and kindness were never a part of anything except that it made it beautiful, and harshness was never a part of anything except that it made it ugly.

The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.
Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.

It's a test that plots people as coordinates in a simple chart. Assuming nothing shakes up your worldview in the next few days you could try it again to check for consistency and even then you can treat it as an incidental curiosity.
It means you're fairly socialist - the onus is on the government to tax the rich and provide public services, and you feel stronger about that than about social behaviour, but in terms of social behaviour you're kind of strict as well. Nanny state suits you fine. Again, the numbers are not that hardcore. Ya'qub's the most hardcore socialist but also, economics aside, very live-and-let-live when it comes to lifestyles. Plus you'll meet a man with a squeaky voice, he's dodgy.
