Issue 10 - OUT NOW!!!

There have been some disturbing reports recently that mention the release of Issue 10 into the wild. These reports are totally unconfirmed and should be ignored.

Oh, what the hell. Who am I kidding? It is out there. We are doomed, I say, doomed. DOOOOMED!

Has it actually gone into distribution yet?

Back in BLACK

As far as I know, yes.

One of my four copies got jacked before I could get them home and into the vault.

Then the hijackers had the audacity to do the Sudoku puzzle right in front of me!

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Is it possible to send some to my local masjid?

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...

I got my batch yesterday to distribute and I must say they look great. Smile

I think this issue has got a great mix of stuff in it.

Irfan.khan there might already be someone distributing in your area, you can send Ed a PM with the mosque details and inshallah he might be able to check. If not maybe you could distribute some down there? (Ed's prob really busy atm so he might take a few days to get back to you.)

new issue? what does it look like? i didnt know :?

The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.

Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.

Admin.

Any chance we can get the media article onto the site?

ofcourse there's a chance!

I am (slowly) working my way down this list:

If you need it up sooner, I can bump it higher.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Bump it up the list please. Thanks.

There is a semi popular saying which uses the words "wish" and "command".

EDIt - no idea what to categories this under. I just stuck it under "Islam in the West" and "Misconceptions".

Mashallah very good, hard to pick faults, the advertising is a bit dodgey with the single muslims.com but the rest seems fine.

its a muslim matrimonial site like millions of others on line
its strongly moderated
it tries to maintain islamic rulings
its acts as the chaperone between the prospective marraige partners

i dont think there's anything dodgy about it

the article accompanied with the advert states how singlemuslim.com helped the sister convert to islam, help her find islamic partner, the revert found it safe and secure especially for sisters...etc etc

I was just saying not many people who i showed the mag to knew about this website thats why i said a bit dodgey, not totally wrong.

I read the latest issue a few days before Christmas.

I think it was brilliant, except the article by the pious lady.

I dont know what she had in mind when she wrote her page.

What a waste of time.

She engaged in a corrupt and useless excercise.

I know I am being harsh in my criticism. But I have to be honest.

Everything else in the magazine was simply excellent.

Me and some of my friends discussed the latest edition in our weekly discussion circle.

Most of us were of the view that the Revival team is slowly but surely reaching towards professionalism.

Well done guys.

Do you think the above may have anything to do with the relatively recent addition of a certain Mr Bell to the editorial team???

Don't just do something! Stand there.

Which article was a waste of time?

Fatal attraction - why its wrong to get involved in premarital relationships?
10 things Hajj can offer you - the benefits of doing Hajj?
Or was it Sound of Islam - haraam/halaal music?

Do tell.

I thought by 'pious lady' he was referring to admin's article!

Don't just do something! Stand there.

Is that you, your G.I Joe doll *ehem* i mean actiona figure spidey toy and batman?

The article "Fatal Attraction" was one of the worst pieces ever in Revival Magazine.

I dont understand why on earth would a pious lady write such rubbish.

Did she not realise that it can harm children.

One of my friend told me his young niece 10 read it and asked him: "do girls and boys these things to boys, and what far?"

We were all shocked at the corruptive influence of the article.

Omrow

The magazine is not for 10year olds. The style and subject matter is way too advanced for them.

In the past, the scholars have even answered a question on porn addiction.

Please, do NOT give the Revival to children.

cant even give magazines on islam to children nowadays
whats happening to this world Cray 2

"ThiS WoRlD Iz A PrIsOn 4 A BeLiVeR AnD PaRaDiSe 4 A NoN-BeLiVeR.........."

You can, but not the Revival.

I think for next issue we need to nick the idea Yorkie had.

NOT FOR TEH KIDS!!!

(With that spelling)

Think of it as Southpark. It is a cartoon, so it should be suitable for kids. Right? right? Wrong!
