A Ramadan Mubarak to everyone!
Rosh Hashana is tomorrow night so, Shana Tova!
This year I've got on well with most of you and had few arguments, found people here to be very pleasant. But that doesn't mean I don't owe any apologies.
To those against whom I have held a grudge - especially mmm, malik and Showkat - I forgive you and ask your forgiveness. Specifically I forgive you if you have directed any animosity at me, and I apologise for directing animosity at you. Although this may seem glib, perhaps we will find a way to communicate respectfully and without barbs.
If there is anything that any members feel they might raise with me to clear the air, either an apology or a concern I should address or apologise for, please feel free to say so on the forum or by PM if you prefer. For my part I'm happy to say I have a positive impression of The Revival and most of those who post here, and I have nothing to complain about. If anything comes up in the year ahead, may we retain this atmosphere of friendship. Again, wishing you a good year, peace and love and Ramadan Mubarak!

Rosh Hashana and Ramadhan start on the same night, subhanAllah..
You're forgiving mmm, malik and showkat, I feel left out now, you must really hate me.
Anyway's your words were very nice, and I should also use this opportunity to ask for forgiveness from yourself, david, editor bro, the muslim sisters and anyone else I've upset over the years.
Ramadan Mubarak all, and Rosh Hashana Mubarak 100man.
Round and round the Ka'bah,
Like a good Sahabah,
One step, Two step,
All the way to jannah

I saw Rye bread for sale saying Happy Jewish New Year on it.
Is there any historical/religious presidence for this?
Its just that Rye tends to only grow in colder and more northerly climates than the Middle East, so was this tradition added by European Jews at a much more recent date?

What do you mean you forgive me.
I did nothing wrong to you, and so I did not ask, nor will ask, for your forgiveness.
If, on the other hands, you think that you have done me wrong, then you need to seek forgiveness from me.
Thats how it works.
Dont beat about the bush, being confused in your own mind. Do things properly.
As far as I am aware, it is you who have insulted me directly.

Thanks everyone!
malik, many times you have spoken against Jews, which obviously put a distance between us. If you click on your profile and quickly browse through your posts you will be reminded - you would not need to follow the links to the entire posts in question, just the first few words quoted in the search results would be enough. If you wanted to inform everyone of your experience as a Shia supporter of the Ayatollah and your opinions of events without featuring any slanderous remarks that distance would most likely not exist. Anyway I relinquish my grudge, might have been a better way of putting it, and I ask forgiveness for any way I have upset you. If you wish to enumerate the ways, I will apologise for any carelessness, and no doubt if we speak seriously about this we can reach a genuine understanding.

Hey man, high five! At least you're not brash. We've been civil with each other, but we've had a good debate. Well.... take care mate!
Chin up, mate! Life's too short.

A very high five to you too. When did we have a debate?
