Each summer, students from across the UK and Ireland come together to reflect on life as a Muslim student and discuss some of the challenges we currently face. This year's FOSIS Annual Conference will be centered on the theme of reform, change and revivalism. Why is there a need for change? Where does change begin? How can we develop our selves and our nation to live up to this age's intense challenges?

The FOSIS Annual Conference will examine these issues through student eyes and relate them back to both the Islamic Society level and the individual Muslim student. And with international speakers, debates, workshops, sports, evening entertainment and - of course - great food, the annual conference is definately not to be missed!

Whether you're involved in your Islamic Society or not, this conference will be relevant to you.

The sole purpose of this initiative is to create a real atmosphere of brotherhood / sisterhood and Unity.

The conference represents an excellent opportunity for potential delegates to gain valuable networks at the largest Muslim Student Conference in the UK in 2008. The FAC 2008 is looking to accommodate approximately 600 attendees for 4 days and aiming to reach up to 1,000 visitors for the main entertainment night on the Saturday. It is the highlight, must attend event at the end of the academic year. This year’s conference will be hosted by the University of Salford’s Islamic Society at the University of Salford in Greater Manchester.
