Your mate didn't want to go. Otherwise I would have happily gone.

Plus you would have had to wait longer to get some food.

Plus you would have got home at a later time.

Plus it would have cost you a further couple of quid and a bit.

Maybe it was for the best. Biggrin

Yeah, I didn't get enough time to look at the stalls outside the mosque yesterday. There were some real bargins there, but the other brothers wanted to go to Alum Rock. Cray 2

But had to agree with Irf about Alum Rock. I didn't think it was too bad at first, till I discover that the tornado didn't hit the place, because that was the only excuse I could think of, because it was a dump  . I think it better to stay near Coventry Street, it no where near as bad.

I tried my best. Given the circumstances.

I thought I'd show you around the Bullring. It's Birmingham's equivalent to the Trafford Centre or whatever. 'Going shopping' is for girls. Blum 3

So there I was looking for pics of Shaykh Hamza for the main site when I came across pics for this event last year. Biggrin

Closest station is Small Heath Station. It's on the same road as the mosque. You should be able to see the mosque as you come out of the station - it's on the other side of the roundabout.

Small Heath Station takes trains from Birmingham Moor Street. No trains go from Manchester to Moor Street as far as I can tell - so you'd have to walk from New Street Station to Moor Street. 2 min walk.

Are you coming down?
