Islam and Our Health with NHS

As-salâmu `alaykum

Please attend the following function for both brothers and sisters and pass the message on (whether someone is a Muslim or not). Minhaj ul Quran (MYL) in conjunction with The NHS presents:

Islam & Health

Working towards a sound stable heart (qalbun salim)

A brilliant opportunity to explore the link
between modern health issues and practices of Islam

Date: Saturday, 13th January
Time: After Salatul Zuhr (1:15pm) till Salatul Asr
(2:45pm)

This is a great opportunity to take part in a
groundbreaking event, which will give a valuable
insight into modern health issues facing the community
including alcohol abuse, smoking, drugs, diabetes,
obesity and heart disease. We will be looking at how
Islam addresses these issues with presentations by
qualified doctors from the NHS. Join us in helping
construct an action plan, which deals in tackling
these problems.

The function will end with workshops to allow the
audience to discuss the short lectures.

The address of the venue is:
