Unity Foundation - Fortnightly Hanafi Fiqh Classes - Shaykh Atabek Shukurov Nasafi

As Salaamu Alaykum,

Unity Foundation are really pleased to present Hanafi Fiqh classes in Preston as part of our eagerly anticipated ‘Islamic Essentials’ program! Allah (swt) revealed Sacred Law to mankind throughout human history; this message of oneness was finalised when the Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad the last Prophet of God (may Allah bless him and grant him peace).

‘Fiqh’ is the science of Islamic law extracted directly from the Qur’an and Sunnah that complements the Shariah with evolving rulings/interpretations of Islamic jurists. Our classes will cover the observance of essential Islamic rituals, morals and social rulings, and aim to facilitate the student gaining a deep understanding of how to fulfill his or her duties to Allah (swt) our Creator via practical guidance.

The enquiring student will insha’Allah gain ‘must have’ knowledge of the rules of God which concern the actions of persons who are themselves bound to obey the law and respect what is required (wajib), forbidden (haraam), recommended (mandub), disapproved (makrooh) merely permitted (mubah).

The course content will aim to enable the student to apply what is taught in his or her daily life in a practical way, covering a wide array of real life scenarios. Each class will be two hours in duration. The first hour Covering ‘Fiqh’ and the second covering ‘Stories of the Companions of the Prophet’ (saw).

Venue: University of Central Lancashire, Harrington Building, Room 135.
