i ordered it day after boxing day, they said deliveries commence on 3rd januray....shouldnt i have recieved it by now? i know they say sumat like upto 7 days....but its usually within 3 days max :?

i rang up customer services for an upgrade, as my 12 months were up and wanted a new handset....which callcentre i got through to, no idea.

no order number given....jus told they gonna add 100 quid to my next bill....as if i needed that Lol

what? 100 quid?

cancel the upgrade! (14 days cooling off period...)

do you get a paper bill?

If you do, go for a new online account (it will be with email billing...), and you will be able to keep the same phone number, and probably get the phone for free. You will also get more mins/text messages for the same price.

O2 upgrades rip the customers off big time. the upgrade departments have a target of giving crap phones, or charging as much as possible for decent phones...

That is £20.00 a month for 300 mins off peak, and 500 text messages. The tariff has been discontinued.

With O2 to get a decent upgrade deal, call the upgrade line, and ask to be transferred to disconnections. There ask for the PAC code. They will ask you why. Tell them you can get a better deal elsewhere. THEN they will allow you to get the normal upgrades without being conned.

O2 Upgrades is made to con customers. The advisers are told not give good phones out.

What phone did he want?

If that does not work, move to paygo (transfer number aswell...), then get a new contract and transfer your number back. (I have 4 o2 sims at home unopened...)

N70 is £49.99 with O2.

Tell him to log onto his online account, and he should be have a DHL parcel tracking number...

is it £25.00 for 500 ofpeak xnet mins, 50 texts?

That is a 3 tariff... dunno...

or is it £35.00 for 500mins, 500 texts (xnet anytime) (12 month)? (18 month versions are 750 of each, or 1000 mins, and 150 texts...)

And its not a special offer. Upgrades department are taught to lie to the customer.

HOLD UP....

Admin i was on the 200mins 50 txt £30 for a few months, i think 6.....3 of them were doubled.....

after that i rang in, and they had a special offer goin on

so they gave me 500 mins instead, and no text, for £25 quid

5 quid cheaper, and 2.5 times the amount of minutes.....worth it

now 12 months are up.....im told i hav to pay for the handset coz im not on price plans startin £45 or upwards

even tho in carphone warehouse ive seen it FREE (Nokia N70) on the 200min price plan, £30

i couldnt really argue with the upgrade people, coz i wanted to stay on the price plan im on.....even tho i can get phone for free from carphone warehouse, i cant get it on the plan im on at the moment.

ADMIN....HELP....I WANT THAT PHONE FREE OR NO MORE THAN 50 SQUID!

The price of the phone is £50.00 for those tariffs...

and those xnet mins.... are they anytime? if not, its not a special offer, but the OLOP500 tariff...

if you got it through carphonewarehouse, I would advise get an online deal. you will beable to get some texts (500) inclded in the same price, and not pay £100.00 for the phone.

Cray 2

am i gettin skanked tho?

what would you advise

charging £100 for the phone is a rip off.

threaten to leave if they do not reduce it.

even ask to be put through to disconnections.

and what if they go ahead and disconnect me....?

Ask for a pac code.

You are disconnected when you give the pac code to someone else, and transfer your number away. A pac code is calid for 1 month, then a new pac code is needed.

And do not worry. They want to keep customers.

yeah but i dont want to be disconnected!!

you cant get a better price plan in shops/online/call centre at the mo

and i dont want cashbacks

true they do ..... but what if they say, Bye....and i say, sorry...i want to stay....makes me look daft Biggrin

the phone still hasnt arrived

as I said, to actually disconnect, you have to give someone else your pac code...

just get your pac code, and make it absolutely clear its because they are charging £100.00 for the phone...

and so what if you look daft to someone you will never ever see, or speak to again?
