Shocking massacre in Syria

I dont think there is much that shocks people these days, especially following the deliberate mass murder and massacre of protestors in Egypt last week.

But the callous taking of lives in todays massacre on the outskirts of Damascus is something else.

Inna lillah wa inna ilaihi raaji'oon.

Such barbaric behaviour doesnt shock me. It just peevz me off.

Do people not realise the value of human life? Are people really that desperate to kling to watever BS power they have that they will slaughter hundreds for the sake of it?

Power grabbing power for the sake of having power is not only ugly but offensive.

That is a big question.

Maybe because it was bogus.

I read the article before the new chemical massacre, so its not something retrofitting facts.

But at the same time it doesnt mean it wasn't the Assad regime.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Daily Mail isnt a credible source and it was quoting "inforwars" which is even less credible.

But the timing is all convenient, especially with the following headline from today:

Syrian offer on UN team 'too little, too late'

Military response to chemical weapons attack from west on table despite decision to allow inspectors in

The value of human life has been lost, without a doubt. Sometimes i wish civilians didn't care so much about politics and who rules their country. I just wish they'd be satisfied with whatever decisions are made up above.

I thought Damascus was pro-Assad?

He doesn't have control of all of it.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Let's make a dua for Syria tonight. For it's future, for its children who witness such horrid scenes, for those who have lost loved ones, for those who've left this world. For everyone one of them.

This was both interesting and at times funny to watch.

And I heard as it were, the noise of thunder. One of the four beasts saying come and see and I beheld, a pale horse. And his name that sat on him was Death... and Hell followed with him.
