A Priceless Quote from a confident Muslim Woman

Nobel Peace Prize winner 'Tawakkul Karman', when asked about her Hijab by journalists and how it is not proportionate with her level of intellect and education, replied:

'Human being in early times was almost naked, and, as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that human being has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is a regression back to the ancient times'.

Ermm.. i need to find out, but i think she's from Yemen? The other two are defineatly from Liberia. Can we interview such people? I thought it might make more sense if the people that are going to be interviewed live close by.

it doesnt matter. its abt how inspriring they are. not how close they live. but if they live close to home then thats an extra.

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

Tawakkul Karman's quote is something that Femen need to be made aware of.

SHE is the one who speaks on behalf of us all. SubhanAllah!

This is the point I made during the counter protest. She IS representative of us. She is a strong progressive, Muslim woman.

& Yes, she's in Yemen but I'm sure a phone/skype interview could be arranged you should deffo look in to it.
