Gaza- Your Battle is Mine.

As I write a child in Gaza knows he’s close to his death,
He shows us courage though he knows what is ahead,
A child was martyred with his father in the night,
His mothers tears bear witness to the fact that she will fight,
I tied myself to this struggle because these children are you and I,
Because I feel their fear anytime I close my eyes,
Our actions have failed them we denied them of their lives,
So as I write these words I am questioning why?

Are we still afraid of ourselves or do we fear those who are looking?
See we know what is coming yet we sit tight and do nothing,
You ask what can we do? Bow down to your Lord,
The faith of the Gazan’s is as strong as before,
Alongside our prayers our actions must show solidarity and support,
I say they are my family so please don’t deny that they are yours.

Occupation and war will never be equal to peace,
That’s logic, it’s irrelevant to what you believe.

As I write houses in Gaza are shaking from the force of our bombs,
So I ask what have these civilians ever done wrong?
First you occupied their land and made them flee from their homes,
Now refugee camps in Gaza are attacked by your drones,
“No San’aa this must be a joke?”
No, this is the reality which haunts me anytime I am alone.

To the children of Gaza, I send my prayers, love and hope,
As you fight this battle you must know you are not alone,
Your sister is here and she feels your pain and fear,
And in your eyes she sees the day of victory as it nears.

You show me courage every time you soldier on,
Your struggle is mine, we fight as one.

let us fight. even if we're one small person. all the great people were one small person. lets make a change.

ive always wondered. you know how jews are actually moving from USA and going to Palestine to basically occupy (what they call "hijrah" as they are moving to their holy land) why dont muslims do that? would that make a difference? if yes, how many muslims have the guts to up and leave like this?

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

Hmmmm. I would, would you and it goes on from there. Will it make a difference though, i don't know. Would we have the capability to support ourselves and defend ourselves if we did.

If anything's gonna happen it needs to be organised and well thought out. I'm with you on making a change though, if we wanna see change it's gotta start with ourselves.
