Assalamu^alaykum Everyone.

First thing I have to say is that you all seem so lovely! Also thank you to The Power Of Silence for directing me here and being the first one to welcome me Smile

I am a neewbie here and have just recently discovered The Revival and I have to say it is really good!

I am Asma, born in Amsterdam, Holland but I came to the UK when I was about 8 years old so my schooling has always been here. I used to live in Birmingham but now have moved to a little town called Aylesbury. I am 23 years old and I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee chocolate!! I am soooo happy that chocolate was mentioned Smile
I love nutty chocolates so its got to be Snickers, Ferrero Roche, Fruit and Nut, Whole Nut, and not so nutty chocolates like Bounty and the list is endless and oh yea I am also very happy about WIspa coming back!!
I also enjoy putting mehndi on, have been doing it for the past 6 years.

The forums on here sound really good and are very intriguing. I do hope to get to know you all insha-allah.

Asma Smile

hello how are you all, i am a wahabi, here to expose the sufi and barelvi as they both share the same beliefs such as muhammad SAW being created from light and all the other nonsense they believe in.

Lol hey, welcome, and feel free to start/join in with discussions. but do remember to take into account what others say and not just ignore Smile

by alla SWT i am here to show the real truth to barelvi and sufis, as they have innovated alot of stuff, believe in fabricated hadith and many shirk things.

Such as hadith number 414 from sahih albhukari states first their was nothing BUT allah then he created his throne and placed it above water, meaning their is no such thing as nur of muhammad SAW and nor was it the first creationof allah.

can you please take that to a new topic. People may be interested in it all, but this topic is for... greetings, not discussion and debate.

agreed have also sat in a debate about this aswel lol

The person may even be strictly wahabi - a follow of ibn Wahaab - who partnered with the saud clan and used takfir in the arab world to make the blood of rival muslim clans halaal for them.

They used it as a means to enrich themselves amongst other things.

i dont know alot of abdul wahaab but from what i heard he set out to stop people committing acts of shirk .... but then u also get people who oppose him and say he was a murderer.

Go read up no it yourself. you're studying law, I am sure you will be able to distinguish falsehood from truth. Make up your own mind.

Make up your own mind if he knew better than the 12/13 centuries of muslims who came before him (and also question wether he had been manipulated by the British - there are memoirs of a British spy which suggest so, but its authenticity may be doubted by some.)

not my molvi i asked my Dad he reads alot of hadith and islamic books etc so when im not sure of anything i ask him and i have read through websites but obviously there are opposing views and as i could not distinguish myself i asked dad and i see that people who dont like abdul wahaab are not in the right with thin things they put against him.

May allah keep me in the right path of islam, and give guidance to the innovaters, the corrupters of this religion

Ameen.

Agreed. Adding prohibition to religion is a bid'ah and bid'ah leads to hellfire.

May Allah (swt) guide all these people who ban things that islam has allowed.

then why do you do the acts of bidaah?

because not all bid'ah is bad!

tell me a the bidahs which you think are not wrong

taravih in jamah!

Noor wrote:
taravih in jamah!

tarawih in jammah was a act muhammad SAW did aswell so its not a innovation, he stopped when his sahabas started to think it was a obligatory act, and muhammad SAW also said follow the sunnah of me and my sahaba, umar ibn alkhattab had the knowlege of the maximum and minimum amount of the sunnah rakah allowed in tarawih, and he just added the quran to be finished during the days of tarawih in it, its like me deciding in 1 year while i pray the night prayers i will aim to complete the whole quran along with it, theirs nothing wrong with that. its not really a innovation is it.

But more importantly thats not viewed as a innovation, cause one its from a sahaba, 2 it was from the second calipha and the second most knolwegeable sahaba, and 3 muhammad SAW said follow the sunnah of me and my sahabas so at the end of the day it is sunnah to do tarawih in a jammah and it isnt a innovation either, although a few things was added by umar ibn al khattab it just makes things better for us as by doing that we will be completing 2 sunnah, the sunnah of muhammad SAW and the sunnah of umar ibn al khattab.

So tarawih 20 rakah jammat with quran is not viewed as a innovation as its from the sahaba, who had the most knowlege of what muhammad SAW allowed and not allowed, since umar ibn alkhattab made this method its obvious it is an act muhammad SAW allowed. And their for not viewed as a innovation.

any other innovation you want to show me which you think is correct,

because i can show you the types of innovation that are allowed in islam

awlia wrote:

now you are saying bid'ah is allowed?

what's wrong with you? make up your mind!

What is bidah, bidah is innovation, innovation can be anything,a car is a innovation, is car haram? of course not as thats a different type of innovation.

The type of innovation that is haram is innovation in religion, which sufis do, like milad un nabi, the huwa huwa thing and other.

They type of innovation i am reffering to is BID'AH-E-HASANA, innovation that does not contadict with islam but can be used with islam, an example to this is, the tasbih, you know this:

this is a innovation, as it wasnt used in the time of SAW, but is it haram? no, why because their is a hadith which shows a woman doing her 33 times 3 praises dhikr using stones to count, and muhammad SAW suggested the finger method to her, now in tasbih you just tie beads on a thread and you use it to count, so its the same thing but in a different method, so as you can see thats a innovation, a innovation to count your dhikr, is it haram? no why because its jsut a way to count your dhikr. So their for it is a innovation, BUT noit a innovation to the religion, which is haram, its jsut a innovation to count your dhikr of 33. it doesnt matter how you count your dhikr as that doesnt matter, but its doing the dhikr correctly that matters.

So the types of innovation i said is haram is the actual bidah/ bidah in islam, like as i said milad un nabi, innovation in the religion. but the bidah i mentioned is bidah e hassana infact go to this site so you can learn what bidah means, what bidah is, and what bidah in islam and other types of bidah that exists, surely your leader of this place brother YOU knows the different types of bidah, hard to believe he didnt teach them to you. anyway heres the link:

@Awlia - the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) did not do it every night, as as for it being an innovation or not, I would leave that decision to hadhrat Umar (ra) himself, who did think it was one.

in your huwa thing you quoted that there was no harm in it, thus it obviously cannot be haraam, proven by YOUR OWN POST.

As for mawlid, Shaykh ibn taymiyyah said there is no harm in it, so it also cannot be haraam, if he did not think there was any harm/sin in it.

(@ everyone-including-me: please can we debate in other topics and not this one? this one is just for welcoming people)

whether he did it every night or not, theirs nothing wrong with doing it every night is it, muhammad SAW didnt always perform the zuhr nafal, but if a person was to do so theirs nothing wrong with that is it.
