Just because arsenal are losing 3-0!!!!! C'mon united!!!!

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...

apologies for not showing my face here last weekend, i was getting enough stick as it was from my customers

but never lose faith in fergies red army

masterclass in how to play football.....taught by United tooo...the 'most beautiful team to watch' arsenal. Yeah ryt.

Anderson and Nani, Carrick and Rooney - miles above Cesc, or anyone else arsenal had to offer.

Outclassed in all departments

your full backs were non existant, and seemed like toure and eboue left their brains in Ghana

The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.

Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.

Still a few minutes left of Barnsley vs Chelsea (the current result of which is taking some of the sting out of United's defeat at the hands of Portsmouth), but it looks like none of the top four are destined for FA Cup glory! Good luck the rank outsiders.

Man U's all the way. Their huge squad and massive budget was enough to see them through. Just wondering what could have been if V Persie hadn't been out all season. I think the moment the tide turned was when his replacement, Eduardo, got his leg broken in the most horrific tackle since Roy Keane retired.

If only Arsenal could afford 30 million pounds on two reserve players (Nani and Anderson) to bolster their squad.

...and incidentally how come Adebuyor was flagged for offside when Boatang passed it to him? You're not offside when receiving a pass from the other team!! That would have been 1-0 right at the beginning and we would still be top of the league!!

Bah Humbug!

Arsenal had a very tough game and the refereeing could have changed everything, but it was a late goal. About United's squad - Arsenal are hardly skint. I think United's newish owners saw what a challenge Chelsea presented and how touchy the fans were, and decided Sir Alex could have whatever he needed.

A lot of people are saying Chelsea is very much in the running - and I wouldn't write off Arsenal either, by any means.

btw I am suspicious of this season. I wouldn't be surprised if a major scandal showed up.

You serious?

There is a budget. around £25million a season or so which has been stretched this time(.) (because)? a year ago I think they actually made money off selling players!

I think questions were raised when last year United ran out of players not once, but twice. Around November (attack), then again around April/May (defence) there were spells where United were lacking "first team" players! it almost lost them the league (Not having a defence can do that...). It probably did cost the Champions League (Milan did play brilliantly, made United to look like amatuers, but Kaka could have been contained IMO with a proper defence.) and the FA Cup.

I am serious - they're not like Abramovich, a lucky Russian autocrat who could get bored any minute. They bought the world's most famous football club (in a season that it won diddly squat, and after a season in which United only won the FA Cup) and wouldn't let it go into free-fall. After a difficult season, settling for the Carling Cup, they won the league again - and this in a highly privatised and financially competitive league. Ferguson has expressed some concerns but after meeting the Glazers he seemed extremely confident - I think he got exactly what he wanted.

My hopeless optimism has turned into hopeless defeatism and I am predicting an Arsenal implosion when they los to Liverpool twice in a row.

Chelsea will finally beat their Liverpool jinx in the semis and go on to beat ManUre in the Champions League final, and Man U will win the league with a few games to spare.

Then Arsenal will HAVE to spend big in the summer - hopefully on Ribery and 1 or 2 others to improve the depth in the squad.

Next year they'll be in a lot stronger position, but for now ITS OVER!!

If my predictions about the fixture list bore out all three top teams would end level on points and United would win the league by a single goal. Whatever happens, I reckon it's going to the wire.

Very happy with today's results. Although Fergie said he probably favours a draw between Arsenal and Chelsea, I think it is better to have an unreliable Chelsea five points behind us than a confident Arsenal (who might have won and been 3 points away still). Both Chelsea and Arsenal play us mid-April, and meanwhile the onus is on Man Utd not to drop points, say away to Middlesborough. Hopefully Chelsea or Arsenal will stumble along the way and ease the pressure - we also play Roma in the next few weeks.

We're home to Villa, away to Roma, away to Boro, home to Roma, home to Arsenal, away to Blackburn, away to Chelsea, home to West Ham and away to Wigan. With the exception of those last two it's a very tough run-in.

On the other hand United can afford to draw with both Chelsea AND Arsenal, and lose a match against one of Villa, Boro, Blackburn, West Ham or Wigan.

I would expect the West Ham to be the more difficult of those. Followed by Blackburn.

It's theirs to lose.

OK, Arsenal's title 'hopes' are officially over. They were a few weeks ago TBH. I don't think it was the FA thrashing that hit the train off the track though, I think it was the injury a few days later. If we'd have won that I don't think our confidence would have been hit so badly. But... ho hum, it's not the end of the world. Now I think they will focus more on the Champions' League and not have to worry about resting players for Premiership games (by doing that they would be spreading themselves too thinly).

In August, Noone expected Arsenal to have been in with a shout for so long, some even thought they'd struggle to get into the top 4, so at least they haven't flopped in that respect.

Winning nothing at all would be pretty hard to take, but if Arsenal win the Champions' League by beating Liverpool, Chelsea AND Man U then we'd all be pretty amazed and it would go down as one of our best seasons ever.

Even better because I could not understand a word. Was the commentator excited?

I had forgotten that Arsenal were playing today.

Wow, Admin, that's so funny I forgot to laugh. Fool

We took Man U to pieces for the first half, missed a hatful of chances, and when we finally did score we panicked and gave away a rubbish penalty.

TBH I'm not that disappointed cos I was expecting Man U to thrash us today.

i think todays game sums up Arsenals season

brilliant for 40 minutes, take the lead...then panic...then lose

yes Arsenal did rip us apart in the fisrt half and Adebayor shud have scored a hat trick...

but the sign of a great team is to win when u dont play that good.. and we proved it...great penalty again from ronaldo who had a very quiet game... and a masterful freekick from Hargreaves

I have to admit Arsenal play the best football.... but dont play winning football... squad too small... dont score enough goals, concede soft goals, lack expereince....etc

utd have the best squad alongside Chelsea...

Utd shud win it now...

^^^^ yep i agree with the above, arsenal play some really nice footie, shame they cannot maintain the same level of footie all through the whole 90 minutes.

i was really hoping arsenal would snatch the title from man utd this season ( since liverpool arent gna be winning it) looks like its between chelsea and manure.
