Minhaj-ul-Quran, the Mustafvi movement! All members of Minhaj-ul-Quran are mureeds of Ghous Paak Biggrin !!! MQI is more than just a movement. Just sit in a gathering with his eminence Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam and you'll know you're sitting with someone special. And the work of MQI speaks for itself.

and he has every right to think that. This forum is NOT here to attack people or groups.

If you disagree with an argument, refute the argument. Or just leave it be.

I think MuslimBro deserves an apology or two...

Assalamu aleikum dear muslim brothers and sisters. I read many of the comments posted here. Basically, you have difference in oppinion whether there should be one caliph for the world or there can be many rulers (presidents, monarchs, kings, sultans, you name it), it's sufficient if they call themselves to be muslims. I want to kindly ask you a question, nobody can deny from ahadith there will be Al-Mahdi who needs to be followed even if we have to crawl towards him, and nobody can deny Eesa (a.s.) will return, those who say we need to give bay'ah to many muslim presidents on earth, my question is, will they disappear at the time Eesa (a.s.) will return? If not, what if they say you shouldn't join him, what if he prevents you to crawl towards al-Mahdi? Will you still obey the presidents as you have given bay'ah to them or you will flee to join al-Mahdi and give bay'ah to him?

Obviously, al-Mahdi is the figure of the future. But the prophet (s.a.s) ordered us to crawl towards al-Mahdi, and that means we should not hold up to multiple muslim rulers of different titles. If you have arguments to that, I will love to hear that. May Allah show us the correct view.

The current brutality in Syria can be traced back to the Assad regime, which eventually took over following a coup to separate from Egypt.

The people of Syria had chosen to unite with Egypt to form a single government, with the idea that the United Arab Republic would then also accept other states from Iraq to Libya. Jordan was the main holdout from the plan.

When certain elites in the United Arab Republic's army thought that Syria was being treated unfairly, they carried out a coup, which lead to other coups and chaos which eventually lead to Hafez Assad taking control of Syria.

The initial intention was Unity. Looks where that ended up.

Apart from a very small time at the start there have often been multiple states. Even with a sngle state, regional affairs would need to be managed regionally and not centrally.
