A little bit of everything

Here I am again, yak yak yak!

Just thought I'd update you all on my thoughts on my arabic class and other random things that I'll mention as I think of them, grinnn

The class is brilliant, made up of a similar aged Indian girl, an older English man (must defo be over 70) and a Irish lady (who's probably in her late 20s) and of course moi.. the class is incredibly small but it's awesome because you get a decent focus from the teacher, it's a school just getting started I think. But yup, it's called Arabian Oasis based near Covent Garden (London).. the website isn't much to shout about (sorry Abdul!) But if you're looking for somewhere to learn Arabic, I'm defo recommending!

It takes me about an hour to get there from where I am, which is cool because everyday on the tube is so interesting! Like, you'll get people doing weird things or reading on their Kindle (why would you ruin, the whole experience of reading a book? Ok I'll rant about electronics another day) and other people, People Watching (I do that as you can tell, but watching others is funny) and all you can think is, don't make it so obvious!

Sometimes on the tube, when there's a especially interesting character, I write.. well type about them on my phone's notepad.. ok I know it's weird and stuff but it's a good way to create characters for when I'm writing (a story or something). Good tip huh? It's not originally mine so I can't take credit, it was in one of my textbooks that I used for my Journalism module at Uni Smile

Anyway random thought, I've noticed an increase of Hijaab Fashion pages recently. Some of them pretty intriguing, but I'm still in the undecided territory of whether it's an Islamic fashion or a fashion with a [faint] Islamic touch (Allah knows best!) but some of them, I do likeeee! Just not sure I'll be able to pull off the look though!

Also, even though I like some and am unsure and all (if it works with Islam's outline of modesty and stuff) as always, I can defo imagine a couple people pointing the Haraam finger. "omg that's Haraam, they aren't covering themselves properly" "That looks nothing like an Abaya" etc etc etc, Hmm. The question is do we style it up or tone it way down)

Tricky.

I think I've covered a whole lot of weirdness today.. Arabic class, the tube, thoughts on fashion.. (I do the elipses - the dot dot - to leave you with a hmmmmm, I'm in thought lol)

Anyway, I'm off to do my Arabic homework now (no, seriously. I am. I ammm! No wasting time looking at oh so distracting Hijaab fashion websites)

Yallah! Yallah!
