For all those critics; the truth does begin in lies. Take me for example... i do all sorts of things that id rather not tell my parents about. For example if I goofed off from studying to go watch a movie and my parents asked me "where I did today?" Id simply answer with "Playing Cricket"... or "When they shout from the hall: "Seraph! What are you doing?" I answer with "Playing Cricket".
Now they aint stupid... they know I cant play cricket and they know Im NOT playing cricket. So to recap whenever I say Im playing cricket they know im not playing cricket and by saying it ive simply side-stepped the question of What I am doing (usually goofing off).
So they know im not telling the truth whenever i say that. And therefore truth does begin in lies.
For all those who still dont get what 'truth begins in lies' means; its basicly when someone exaggerates a story to sound better or more exciting.
Or as Obi-Wan said the truth is a matter of perspective or point of view.

All that means is that YOU lie.
If it is exaggerated it is an opinion, a story, not a truth.
People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

Its the universal truth... everyone lies. And since im included in that... then yes.
But in this case no... your wrong. Its side-stepping the question, since they actually know im not playing cricket and they dont ask anything further ive effectively evaded the question.

A lie is a lie is a lie.
Not saying anything, ignoring the question, asking one of your own, starting a new topic - they are side stepping the question.
Calling it a universal truth does not change it from (IMO flawed) opinion to fact.
People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.

Repeating yourself doesn't make you're theory any better. Bcoz if it does im pretty sure I can out repeat you.
Side-stepping the question by answering with an irrelavant answer is by definition not lying. Lying actually involves answering the question... clarity its a wonderful thing.
Everybody lies... show me someone who doesn't lie and i'll show you a hypocrit.

ObiWan was wrong.
There is "The truth" which is black and white. People confuse that with a persons truth, which is another way of saying strong opinion.
Anyway, as it is you who has slurred humanity, the onus is on you to prove its guilt, not on me to prove its innocence.
Nothing worse than a monster who thinks he's right with God.

Hey man, dont blame Obi-Wan. He kicked Anakins chosen-ones a$$.
Dude, this is a blog not a court. I dont have to prove anything. People can like it or lump it but in the end... everyone lies and you KNOW IT!
Whether from clay or from metal, it is in the nature of us to make our own monsters.

The truth does not begin in lies.
If we look at the following conversation that might have taken place at 7:30pm yesterday:
Later on that evening, this probably didn't happen:
I suppose this showdown didn't follow:
Gentleness and kindness were never a part of anything except that it made it beautiful, and harshness was never a part of anything except that it made it ugly.
The journey of 1000 miles must begin with a single step.

lol bravo Dawud... that was genius pure utter genius. My parents dont talk like that but it would be hilarious if they did.
The problem is they've never stopped to consider what I was hiding. Since the phrase "Im playing Cricket" is just a joke. Like this morning when I was on the loo, and my mom knocks on the door coz she wants to go too. She asks "What are you doing in there?" to which I replied: "Playing Circket"... obviously im not playing cricket, but she stops right there and doesnt ask anything further.
As for my dad, he'd never hold a conversation that was that long. He prefers to keep it short. But thanx for paying attention to my family.

It's ok Seraph, everyone has a pet name for it; yours is 'playing cricket', for others its going to their 'happy place'.
I'm sure you'll grow out of it.
